If you google Czech Glass  you will find Crystal Treasury.com , Tom Bohemia.com , and ciocollection.com  that  have examples of numerous items which are fraudulently marked Lalique and sold on Ebay. The large vase with nudes and the ashtray with the nude female are two I have seen recently sold as Lalique. They use the orignal molds to produce these items, however the quality of the molding decreases with use of the molds, and can be seen in the final product. Each time a mold is used it deteriorates a little, so the quality of the molding deteriorates as well. You will also find a firm called Tom Bohemia which also sells examples of items frequently seen on eBay sold as Lalique. Let the buyer beware! As I update this on June22,2008 there seems to be a flood of fake Lalique  hitting eBay. Some sellers are listing several fakes at the same time and it's hard to believe that they are unaware of this. If you do purchase one of these please make sure the seller has a good return policy and if possible pay thru PayPal so you have some level of protection. There is an excellent website, rlalique.com which has tons of information regarding fake Rene' Lalique, a free authentication service, and a suspicious on-line auctions blog highlighting current fake Lalique being offered on eBay.
