Hello Ebay comunity, I'm almost new to ebay, but have been already in contact with a fake Hermes handbag that I purchased, as my next investment I wanted a Gucci Boston Handbag, but since I was scared and had read all this helpfull guides decided to do more research on my own...

Well I've mostly bad news for all of you that are interested in purchasing a handbag on Ebay, most of them are counterfeit, if you go to google and do a search on mirror image of a particular model you will find plenty of models being copied and sold by asian companies, also you can bid and order them on iofer dot com, and even make an offer to the already low price, sometimes is most expensive to send it to your home, than the price you will pay for your fake handbag, and they will sell you the handbag with everything you need to make and think someone from ebay that is authenthic (dust bags, controllato cards, carecards, receipts, paperbag, boxes, you name it anything you expect with a real handbag). Plus all this handbags look so much alike from the originals, that even sellers at a gucci store will have a hard time telling you if its original or not, sometimes the quality is quite low that anyone can tell, but if you purchase a mirror image model it will be verry hard to tell.

We already now the red flag signs of fake handbags, but if you're new to Ebay I will mention them anyway:

-If its sold in an Asian Country don't buy it since most of the counterfeit handbags are made in Asia, and also be cautious I saw recently a seller that claims to be in the UK ad at the end it says the handbag will be sent from Hong Kong and will take longer to arrive.

- The seller has a large amount of the same modell, and is doing wholesale, then its most likelly that is a counterfeit, Designers want to be exclusive, sometimes on the most sought after models there are waiting lists to get your handbag, so if there's a waiting list, and then someone on the internet has 15 handbags of the "IT" handbag is quite suspicious.

- Look at the sellers feedback, if its private run away, they're hiding something fishy, also if they have a lot of the bag is not what I expected, or fake handbag then its also a sign of a really bad seller.

- Look at the pictures, does this looks like a 1000 or more dollars handbags, if it doesnt then it's a fake.

- Does it look to good to be true. then it must be. If I had in my hand an It handbag and want it to sell it on the Ebay, I would want to make a profit out of it, not loose more money, It doesnt make sence that I want to give away a handbag and reduce its price by 50 or even 80% off, its not reasonable, a lot of ladies want to get their hands on my Hot handbag and they will be willing to pay me more for the one I've, so it doesnt make any sense in selling it for a cheaper price.

- If it tells you a long story about why they're selling their handbags dont buy it, a handbag doesnt need any story, you just sell it or dont and if its a pretty handbag, and a sought after model, then it doesnt any interesting story to be sold.

-If it has artist pictures to sell the handbag I really wouldnt buy it from them, the picture is like the story you don't need the publicity of a star to sell you the handbag.

- Look at where does it put authentic, does it says something like "authentic new" "authentic black" "authentic handbag", then they're trying to trick you, yes the handbag will be new or black, or a handbag, but it doesn't mean that will be from the designer, so don't be tricked on to this.

And since all this research I decided to pay full price and rest asured that my handbag its authentic and is from Gucci, because buying counterfeit is illegal, plus the only way to stop counterfeit is to stop buying from them, and if at the end you decide to buy on Ebay do a lot of research before making a purchase, and to rest asured that your money is getting what you really want, I really wouldnt want to spend my hard earned money on a fake handbag. Good luck with your purchases and hope you can find gold in your next one........ thanks for reading my guide, and I'm not afilliated with any designer, I just want to make my Ebay experience and the Ebayers comunity a lot more pleasant.......... so if you like my guide please vote for me... thank you for reading it.
