I recently bought two pair of D&G jeans from an eBay store called modo-bello. I paid $45 for one pair and I accidently bid on and won another pair for around $70. They arrived from BULGARIA! I speak fluent Italian and D&G jeans are supposedly made in Italy. The pants came dangling a host of tags and even a silly "hologram" to attest to their alleged authenticity. The "fine-quality" blurb and washing instructions were in Italian and English. The Italian instructions contained spelling and grammatical errors that a six-year old Italian wouldn't make. For example, the word "questo" in Italian means "this." It was spelled "quaesto," which would be something like "thies" in English. You get the picture. I read elsewhere that designer jeans sold from legitimate stores like Sax's, Nieman-Marcus, etc. hardly ever go on sale, and when they do they always cost over $100. So think twice before buying a $250 pair of jeans for $40. They also look, feel and fit like cheap junk. I still gave them positive feedback, just to be nice. I got my $40 worth, barely.
