Frog lures have been around almost as long as fishing itself,From wood frogs to plastics,rubber to new foam frogs.It seems today the trend is getting away from the real looking and real frog action,Its being replaced by short vibrating legs,smaller versions made of hollow plastic and cnc machined molds that resemble something from star wars rather than a frog.We at Bog Baits have an answer to all these attempts at the perfect frog and as you will see,We have In our opinion and a lot of our customers opinions made the percect frog lure,The Bog frog  ,made from a mold of a real frog and comes in 4 sizes,small 3-4 inches, regular 7 inch ,big bog frog at 8 inch and our musky frog at 9 inches and a whopping 3.6 ounces.We wanted a frog lure that would far exceed anything on the market today And we have done that.Frogs Can be fished in different ways for different situations.First there is the top water frog,we fish our frog on top with mustad weedless hooks ,most common place is in the weeds and lilypads,bringing the frog on top of the slop,a slow presentation works well but sometimes bass and pike like a faster retrieve so dont be afraid to try different speeds,when a fish does attack wait until you feel it on the line,many fisherman tend to set the hook too early when they see the explosion,all it atkes is to wait until you feel the fish .Second way to fish the frog is to fish it submerged or suspended.I like to use a larger worm hook with a worm bullet sinker or a weighted hook,Most fisherman dont know but frogs swimm mostly underwater and on the bottom.Work the frog in short pumps of your rod keeping it moving in a faster retrieve.Last but not least is to fish the frog on a jig,This i my favorite and has produced my biggest bass catches,i use the larger frogs on at least a 1/4 ounce jig or larger depending on the depth,i like to work the jig on and off the bottom,Check ou tor full line of Bog Frogs at bog baits ebay store.
