Franciscan Pottery - trademade of Gladding & McBean, is arguable one of the most highly sought after American earthenware.

So popular, that Hollywood actress Lucille Ball, of the "I Love Lucy" fame, used Franciscan dinnerware on the show.

For the sake of brevity in this guide, and because of the eBay restriction of only 10 images, I've excluded the very earliest and lastest backmarks.
