So you got yourself a new footbag!
Here are a few care & maintenance tips to get the most out of your bag:

1) Always pickup the bag with your hands
2) Never "toe up" the bag
3) Never scrape the bag against the ground
4) Wash your bag regularly in COLD water as dirt can eat away the fabric. Be sure to handwash it gently.

When breaking in a new footbag, always roll it GENTLY with your hands, never on the ground and/or with your feet!

The  history of footbag:

Footbag was invented in 1972 by Jonh Stallberger an Mike Marshall in Oregon city, Oregon.
The game began with the famous phrase "let's go hack the sack", sack being a little hand-made leather ball.
Stallberger and marshall then promoted the new sport under the name footbag and marketed a product named Hacky sack, witch they later on sold to Wham-o.

Two main sport emerged from this effort:
1) Footbag Net, a game played over a badminton net using only your feet.
