Any Fluke Instrument purchased "Brand New in the Box"...."Lifetime Warranty"...."Warranty" does Not apply when they are sold on ebay, Yahoo, etc. Three basic things an owner of  a Fluke product must have for Warranty are as follows:

1. Must be the First "Registered purchaser".

2. Must have purchased from a "Fluke Factory Authorized Distributor".

3. Must also have a "Bill of Sale" with your name on it, Serial Number where applicable, from an Authorized Fluke Distributor when & where purchased.

Telling a Fluke repair facility that you bought it on ebay, and showing them any supported document  such a PayPal or eBay transaction is the same as a VOID stamp when it comes to warranty. How Fluke would turn down the Warranty when purchased on ebay, even though their Warranty does Not state it, is you would not have a "Bill of Sale" from an Authorized Distributor!

Anyone selling on ebay and using the word "Warranty" for a Brand New item, probably is reading off the box, and is not aware there is NO Warranty with the product, unless they so state it as their 'Own' Warranty....such as '30 Days'. No seller on ebay can or should be advertising a Manufacturers Warranty unless they are fully aware of  it guidelines when it sold on ebay, or other interent sales sites.
