Hi, first off thank you to buyers and sellers that at least leave feedback. I just wanted to let a few buyers understand the feedback system for sellers from ebay. As a buyer who don't sell maybe they do not fully understand ebay's system.  Here are a few things that a buyer needs to know before leaving a low feedback score for shipping.

1. the seller pays a listing fee of at least .35 cents if not more to list the item

2. the seller pays a selling fee based on the sale of the item of at least $1.50 plus more $1.50 for an  item that sells for $9.99 or less, more is taken out for an item that sells for more than that.

3. the seller has a percent taken from any and all sells from paypal right off of the top

4. the seller pays for the materials even the slight amounts for envelopes, cardboard, packing supplies even time to ship the item, ebay don't allow the seller to figure in gas or other things.

These are some things that the buyer needs to know when leaving a low score for shipping an item. For example to sell an item at $9.99 with shipping cost of lets say $1.75 per example.. ebay takes .35cents to list then $1.50 when item is sold then paypal takes around .50 cents or more because they take from the total including shipping cost or fee so it could be up to a dollar, but for the example I will go with .50 cents... which means right from the top of our selling the amount of $2.35 is taken off our item. Which means the seller only recieved $7.64 for the item, now take in to consideration our time and supplies to either draw or list the item, then pack the item. The seller ends up with maybe $2.50 if they are lucky for an item that sold for $9.99 plus shipping.

I hope that when a buyer who has never sold an item on ebay will take some of this into consideration when leaving a lower than 5 on the shipping part of the feedback system.

The other thing the buyers should be aware of is that when leaving a lower than 5 on the feedback system it truley harms the seller. It costs us more to list an item, they don't put us in the search part of ebay and they charge us more money to list and sell. So please buyers look at the date the item was mailed look at the time it took us to list, get the item ready and ship before you leave a low score for shipping. Please take into consideration the rest of the feedback score too. If you have had good communications with the seller, did they answer your emails, did the listing show the item or state ask a question. If the listing had the details plus ask a question if you have them, as a buyer read the whole listing and ask. Please do not bid/buy win the item then get mad at the buyer who had this in the listing and sent the item ASAP, or did the seller give you a particial refund on the shipping?? did you get this and maybe forget at the feedback time? please do not take it out on a seller that ships ASAP and the post office takes forever to get you your item, these are a few more things to remember at feedback time.

Plus if you have a problem with an item did you contact the seller and ask a question or make a comment before leaving the low score?? most sellers will work with a buyer before a low score is left, please try this before you leave a low score or negative feedback to a buyer that don't know there was a problem.
