THIS IS JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION
USING OUR WISE MIND - WHEN LEAVING FEEDBACK
AS THE SELLER
* Here is where there is always a debate.
Should seller leave feedback first or buyer leave first..
PERSONALLY
*--> I want my customers happy, and to be return buyers.
That is why I wait till I hear from my buyers.
Either from feedback or email.
*If they have a concern, I hope they contact me.
I will do the best I can to solve concern.
If I neglect to correct a mistake I made, I will
take the feedback I deserve. Use it as a lesson learn,
to be a better seller.
Being human, we do make mistakes.
* Seller might of forgot to mention something.
-->This is where we need to fess up to our mistake
and try to fix it the best we can.
Or recieve the negative we deserve.
--> the buyer, might of missed something in
reading the description.
Can a simple solution on this, make the customer happy.
Maybe. Always worth the try.
You do want a happy customer and a return customer.
-->BUT, there are times, no matter what you say or try to do,
you will not make that customer happy.
Mission Impossible.
BEING HONEST, when leaving feedback.
*SELLER - if your description was clear & correct,
buyer did not read all information or misread.
*This is where you have to make
a decision, how or what to leave for feedback.
--> Will leaving negative hurt your sales.
Or will it help other sellers on buyer beware.
* BUYER- left you negative & had every right to do so.
Because you
- forgot important information,
- mislead in description,
- not clear to vital information.
- overcharge in shipping
- did not correct your error
Again, this is where we have to be brave,
and take what we deserve.
WE NEED TO REMEMBER
* Feedback can not be edited.
* It becomes part of who we are on ebay.
* Feedback is a legal document,
Under Federal Law
(the Communications Decency Act)
* A person can be held responsible for damages to a
member's reputation, if the court was to find the remark,
damaging the repurtation or good name of by slander.
FEEDBACK EXTORTION
* This is when someone threaten to leave negative feedback
for another member unless the other member
provides possitive feedback first.
ebay has policies on all these issuse and can be found in the help section.
