I am always searching for Versace items, purses, clothing and jewelry.  Well.......I just happened to look through the Spring/Summer 2007 I called their Chicago store to request a few months ago and WOW, can you ever tell the real items from the FAKES!!

1.)  Sellers on eBay list Versace purses for a very high price.  My advice is to check the internet for a list of Versace boutiques and request some catalogs before you end up with a FAKE $300. and up handbag!

2.)  Clothing, oh geez, here we go.  The MAJORITY of Versace women's clothing seems to be t-shirts!  Can you say............CHINA, HONG KONG, ASIA???  Never buy anything from those countries.  Do you have any idea how easy it is to make a FAKE item of clothing?  All they do is print some type of varying graphics, logo's, names on a t-shirt and try to sell them on eBay.  The SAD part is, I actually see people buying them!  I hope they just may like the shirt, and not expecting a REAL Versace item.

3.)  PLEASE do your homework first before bidding/buying.  I requested a catalog, and they sent me 2.  One is of purses and shoes from the Spring/Summer line.  The other is their monogram line, also purses, shoes, and wallets.  The FAKES are also made in sweatshops in China, Asia, etc.  The catalog photos are crystal clear and you can see every detail.  Having them in hand, I just saw many, many FAKE purses!  Another country, which surprised me for selling many fake Versace items is Australia!  You would not catch me buying any Versace item from any of these countries.

4.)  FINALLY, my best suggestion is to call and request a catalog.  THEN, you can compare what is REAL and what is FAKE!  Please, we work too hard for our money to be ripped off.  Maybe some people do not care, they think they will "fake out" people, friends, etc., and let them think they have a REAL Versace item.  My friends would know the difference for sure.  I would be so embarrassed.  I DO care that I have authentic items and not FAKES!

5.)  In the end, it is all up to you......you can either get a catalog to be able to tell real from fake or......if you don't care, buy a fake.  I am just trying to let you know what is going on here on eBay regarding FAKE items.

NO MATTER HOW BAD YOU WANT AN ITEM, PLEASE GET YOURSELF A CATALOG SO YOU WILL KNOW WHAT EXACTLY YOU ARE BUYING.

So many sellers say "AUTHENTIC", big deal...........even before I had my catalogs, I could tell on most items if they were real or not.  Believe it or not, it is even safer when a seller has an older USED item.....better chance it authentic.  This whole Asia and fake items has exploded in the past few years.  eBay has made it possible for them to reach millions of potential "suckers" as they must think about us.  Hee, hee, I am guessing before we all had computers and online access, they must have been selling them out of the trunks of their cars.:)

I wish I had a scanner as I would LOVE to show you the REAL items in them compared to the fake photos on eBay.  If I find a way, I will update this page.
