To get tons of info on fake designer bags versus authentic handbags like Fendi, Gucci, Coach, Juicy, Prada, etc....just click the blue and red "ME" on your right, then click the "Informational Websites" on my "ME" page about half way down under 'Favorite Links'.  If you have trouble doing that, just email me for the dot com.

I hope this info below helps you learn more about designer bags before buying online. I have been in retail at Macys, high end boutiques, retail manager, and sold  handbags in high end retail dept stores.  My info below is what I have learned over the years. I hope it helps you in your quest for finding the 'real deal' when it comes to authentic designer bags.

 FENDI SPY BAGS:

HOW TO SPOT A FAKE REPLICA COUNTERFEIT FENDI SPY BAG BAGS!

The majority of designer Fendi Spy Bags (and other high end designer bags) on Ebay are counterfeit and being sold as authentic, even by some Power Sellers. Just because a seller with fantastic feedback or tons of sales from many years as an ebay seller, is zero guarantee that they are selling an authentic designer bag.  Here are just some of the signs of counterfeit Fendi Spy Bags:

(NOTE> if there is any designer bag auctions in the far right column, they are put there by ebay, not me. Ebay just picks up on keywords in peoples guides and it puts sellers auctions in the right hand column automatically)

1. Yellow Fendi hang tag are only on replicas

2. Cheap clear plastic on the handles are only on replicas

3. Fendi leather is very bubbly looking and creavesed on most Fendi Spy Bags  (those can be copied too so be careful)

4. If the white card with the serial number on it is blurry and non-readable in the seller's photos...RED FLAG!  (this doesn't mean its not real but you need to check it out before bidding)...if you email them and they give it to you, copy and paste the number into google search then leave a space and type the word fendi after the number, and see for yourself. Sometimes it will be tons of websites that have to be translated. This means it is a fake made in China usually. Don't bid.

5. If there is a photo of the serial number embossed on the leather inside and you can't make it out in the photos it either means the seller has a bad camera or they are hiding something....RED FLAG! email the seller and get the 'full' number and try to get it checked out  (this doesn't mean its not real but you need to check it out before bidding)

6. No serial number in the listing description....RED FLAG! email the seller for it. If they don't give it to you, don't bid  (this doesn't mean its not real but you need to check it out before bidding)....they usually will give it to you and if they do, then do number 4 above.

7. Bid price starts at just a couple hundred dollars with no high reserve on a brand new Fendi Spy Bag that normally cost about $1900...HUGE RED FLAG!!

8. Uneven seams where it is sewn

9. Fake receipts that look legitimate that comes with the Fendi handbag with a low starting price and no reserve

10. Sellers who have a store full of them in the same style starting at a couple  hundred dollars....please!

11. Sellers who refuse to give you the serial number for some story like "I can't give it out because of counterfeiters who copy them, am sorry". Baloney! They know they are selling fake bags and they don't want you to find out. Don't bid !!

12. The white receipt you see in a lot of auctions on 'any' designer bag, should have one pointy teeth like edging where it was torn off of the cash register. Lots of sellers will show receipts in their auctions from Macys, Saks, etc....If they are authentic, they will have one jagged edge from the register when the clerk tore it off. All smooth flat sides is a sign of a fake receipt. Oh yes, Macys, Saks, and other store receipts.....can be faked.

13. This is also stated below, but I wanted to put it into a couple places because it is so important> The Fendi Company does not sell to a person at a major wholesale price in order to resell in online auctions/vendor shows/flea markets, and the like, to make extra money. Fendi ONLY sells to stores/boutiques that have their legal AUTHORIZATION to do so, period! Some of those that are, are Macys, Bloomingdales, Eluxury (website if they are still in business), etc... When they go on sale in these stores, it won't be at no 70% off. These stores do have designer 'outlet' stores found in some  big cities where you can find them in there for a fraction of the cost that can be rock bottom cheap. These stores usually send them over there if they are damaged, stained, don't sell on clearance, returned with imperfections by the owner, broken parts done by the owner that returned it or a customer who accidentally did something to it, and reasons like that. You will see many websites that state their Fendi handbags are authentic when they are not, and those websites look very very professional and believable.

14. Another place for info is the ' handbag forum' on the internet. They can have helpful people on their too.

15. Last but not  least, I have the name of a dot com that is for 'information only' that tells all on counterfeit Fendi bags, Prada, Juicy, and more. It has photos and everything on what to look out for. Just email me and I will give you the address. We are not allowed to put the addresses in our guides. The website does not authenticate handbags.

FENDI DOES NOT SELL 'WHOLESALE' TO THE PUBLIC FOR RE-SALE.....EVER!!

*********************************

MORE VALUABLE INFO:

Brand new Fendi Bags cannot be bought by the public wholesale, at flea markets, street vendors, gray market, and the like. The public can only buy AUTHENTIC Fendi Bags at a store, and on a website that is authorized to sell them,  such as Saks, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Eluxury, etc... which also put their bags on sale sometimes. If you shop at the military BX, they sell Coach bags, but if they ever carry Fendi, it will be authentic. You can also find authentic ones new and used at designer outlet stores for great prices if your lucky to have one nearby. If your super lucky, you may find one at a Goodwill that someone donated, hence a much lower bid price with no reserve if it is previously used.

If the ebay seller gives you a really good reason why the "new" Fendi Spy bag is starting at such a ridiculously low bid price with no reserve, then the story is usually a bunch of tall tales. Some buyers believe any seller's reason and will fly off the handle and bid then find out when it's too late that it is fake, so be smart, use your brain, and do all your homework before bidding if you want an authentic bag.  Fendi Spy Bags sell for $1800 on up. NO WAY can a seller sell one for $200 brand new with tags with no reserve unless it was given to them as a gift and they didn't like it, but that is almost unheard of or they found it at a designer outlet store dirt cheap (the retail stores never lower the price on those that much). The seller would be losing hundreds of dollars if it was NWT, authentic, and selling for that low of a price on the norm. The ultra low starting bid price alone is a major RED FLAG when there is no reserve if it is brand new with tags or new without tags. Even if it has a reserve, does not mean it is authentic. That of course is not new news as most seasoned buyers of authentic bags know that first hand.  Again, Fendi does not sell wholesale to the general public to sell on ebay.

I am not a Fendi dealer and I cannot authenticate any Fendi handbag. Any emails asking me do to so will be deleted.

FAKE SERIAL NUMBER BELOW:

If you copy and paste this serial number into google exactly like this (without the Astrixs)> "8BR511RRU 058 Fendi' you will see tons of China websites that you can't read because most are in their language that have to be translated (if their not on the first or 2nd page in google, keep going page to page as you will see plenty of those websites). If you don't have access to a store that sells authentic Fendi handbags to where the sales manager can help you out, then google has lots of info that is legit, and also other sellers in ebay that have reviews and guides on counterfeit bags you can check out today.

THIS NUMBER BELOW WHEN COPIED AND PASTED INTO GOOGLE (8BL078 00RPU FOGG8), from the fake authenticity card below that came with a Fendi Spy Bag advertised as 'authentic', will show tons of websites in google that have to be translated (don't see the websites? then keep looking page to page and you will see many of those websites for this fake serial number)...this Fendi Bag that this card came with was made in China:

HOW TO GET A REFUND IF YOU RECEIVED A FAKE DESIGNER HANDBAG:

CONTACT THE SELLER FIRST and try to work it out to get a refund from them. Sometimes a seller does not realize they are selling a fake handbag thinking it is the real deal.  If they refuse to refund you, then this is how you can get a full refund...keep reading.....

YOU CAN do a dispute through EBAY if the seller refuses to give you a refund. The majority of ebay disputes are refunded to you within 3 days or less along with your original shipping that you paid. You don't have to send it back either. You get to keep the item, and get your money back if the seller refuses to do the refund, and if you win the dispute.   Be very very detailed in your complaint. Make sure you give them the seller's ID name and the auction number and why it is fake. If the seller agrees to give you a refund "through the dispute", then ebay requires that you have to send it back to the seller and get "Delivery Confirmation" for proof you sent it and it has to show it has arrived before eBay refunds you.  You have 45 DAYS to do a dispute. After 45 days, there is nothing you can do through ebay or Paypal. Read further.......................

If that does not work, you can do the following......

IF YOU USED A CREDIT CARD THROUGH PAYPAL then call your credit card company immediately and do what is called a 'chargeback' (you can sign into Paypal and find out what that is in detail). Tell the person on the phone that you need to talk to someone in the 'FRAUD' department. Then tell that person how you need your money back into your account on a counterfeit item you just received and what you need to do. You have an excellent chance to get your refund, and  your credit card company deals with Paypal for you. You can go into the Paypal "Help" section and type in 'chargeback' and read all about it what it is. Remember, call your credit card company (the 1-800 number is on the back of your card) and tell them to transfer you to the fraud department then go from there.

IF YOU DID A DEBIT CARD transaction, you may be able to talk to your bank about receiving a counterfeit item and see if they'll refund you. Talk to someone in charge that knows what their doing.

IF YOU SENT A CHECK OR MONEY ORDER to pay the seller, then you may or may not get a refund from the seller. There is not much you can do if you sent your payment this way. Paying for high dollar items or any item this way is very risky  because if you want a refund, the seller can refuse and there is nothing you can do about it except take them to court if you have the money to do it, and live in the same city, and if you think it was worth it to do that.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, IF IN DOUBT DO NOT BID
