I'm writing another guide on fake Juicy Couture because I have come across another item I would like to have and noticed that there are a TON on eBay at this time. I believe they stopped selling this tracksuit in January or February so there is no reason for people to be selling a bunch of these sets! Yes, they are selling sets! Pants AND hoody included for as cheap as $40! Some of them promise authenticity in their listing and they have a pretty high amount of positive feedback (hopefully that will change with eBay's new feedback policy!). However, keep in mind that if it's at a low starting bid that doesn't always mean the item is fake. Many trusted sellers enjoy starting their items at .99 but do be careful if you notice there are a lot of that same item selling for cheap!
Most of us know that the majority of things coming out of China are fake so we feel safe when we search for Juicy Couture located in the United States...but when conducting my search MOST of the sellers selling fake Juicy Holiday Tree sets are located in the US!
I came across this site: http://www.ioffer.com/i/34086771
that deals these particular hoody sets to the US. If you look down at the discussion board, you can see all of the questions people are asking the seller about this. He confirms that this tracksuit runs small, the foil will probably come off in the wash, there is a "J" zipper...but most importantly that it is a "replica".
Here is a picture of the fake suits from the site if the link no longer works:

Do you notice anything strange about the black suit? The tree is GOLD! The real holiday tree should be SILVER:

I have also noticed some strange colors popping up on eBay that I don't remember being sold in stores. Please message me and correct me if I am wrong, but I never remembered the holiday tree tracksuit coming in colors such as soft pink, green, or bright pink. There is a good chance that these are also fake. The only colors I remember (again correct me if I am wrong) are Navy, Black, and Brown and the black suit is supposed to have a SILVER tree, not a gold one.
A good way to check and see if what you're watching on eBay might be fake is to go to sites like ioffer.com and tradekey.com and see how many "whole sellers" are out there selling bulk of that item for cheap. This will not always tell you enough but it will give you a good idea of what kinds of fakes or "replicas" are out there.
I'm sorry if this guide isn't as helpful as it could be, but I really do not want to get burned buying a fake holiday tree hoody so that I can compare it to the real one that I would eventually buy (like the incident with my real vs. fake juicy parfum guide)!
As always, when in doubt- don't bid!! Try to find this at a local outlet store or from an actual trusted eBay seller! Chances are, someone with an authentic suit will not have the same size top and bottom and they most likely won't sell the suit together, and they won't have tons of them in their inventory! Keep these things in mind and bid safely!
