Some sellers are passing off Kingston 4GB 50x SD cards as real, genuine. The cards are fake and this is supported by the following e-mail confirmation from Kingston Memory Support:

This is a counterfeit part. Based on WO 2045871 and BOM 94110-925.A00LF on the label, it should be SD 512 MB. I suggest not buying from ebay. Just to inform you we closely monitor ebay for Kingston counterfeit products but impossible to track every single one. It's customer beware when it comes to ebay. I suggest you purchase from our website which should lead you to a reputable vendor.

Refer to the numbers above. If the card pictured has those numbers on it, then the card is a FAKE. Do not purchase it. They card will have read errors and in some cases will contain viruses. Do not chance your memories to poor quality memory cards. Purchase from authorized dealers who can substantiate their product as being legitimate.
