Ok, we all have been scammed, I understand that. But sellers are finding more and more creative ways to stick it to us and circumvent Ebay's fees.
Sellers are allowed to add a handling charge to a transaction, but it is to be included in the shipping and HANDLING charge not after the sale.
(Note where it says H A N D L I N G, duh)
Adding charges after the auction has ended is in violation of some of ebays rules. Like excessive s&h. Or circumventing fees.
Here is one excerpt from an actual listing:
A $4.99 handling is applicable for this auction. There is no negotiation about this charge.
They also add $1 insurance and then ship ups. ups covers your first $100. Adding extra insurance charge then not buying it is illegal.
If you come across one of these sellers, REPORT THEM!!!!!!!!
