This CD was only released in a limited quantity of 2,500 copies and these were given away at their first concert in Little Rock, Texas. Any Evanescence site will tell you that.
Now then, anyone wanting to buy one of these so called 'original' CD's should really take a look around the auctions that have ended, just to see how many of the 2500 'original' CD's have passed through e-bay during the past few weeks prior to making that informed purchase. As this CD is so rare (2500 copies remember), how likely is it that so many people have suddenly decided to let them go??
O.K, some of these could well be genuine people with good reason to raise some funds by selling their copy of this valuable CD, but on the other hand, you are more likely to be buying a pirate copy (probably originating from Eastern Europe) which has about as much value as the media that it is burned on.
I made the mistake of buying one of these......partly thru curiosity, and although it is not the original article, whoever sat in front of his/her computer putting it together, they have done a fine job.
As I say, not every copy that goes thru ebay is well.........a copy, most of them will be.
Remember the old maxim......if it's too good to be true, it usually is!!
Good luck in your efforts to find a genuine version.
Stay safe & lets keep ebay fun.
Happy bidding everyone.
