Having spoken to European Secrets a little over 2 months ago, I can tell you that if you are purchasing any product by the name European Secrets, it should have California as it's location on the product. Anything without California is product that is over 10 years old and was made in Germany. European Secrets could not verify if the product had a shelf life that long, but stated that they didn't believe that any of the properties would still be active.
For further information you may contact American International Industries (they purchased European Secrets) at their website, just google European Secrets. They may take a few days to reply, but they will give you their number to call for further information and are very thorough.
There is only a handful of sellers selling outdated products that I have found, so as usual, it's buyer beware.
