this item is worthless!!!!! maybe it was just me who got the lemon and now i have a sour thought but this is my experience with the product .... i bought the $180 one that has a shoulder strap and all the attachable head peices and whatnot (called the ultra steam shark II) .... so i pour in regular clear normal safe to drink tap water into my steam shark .... i start using it .... here are SOME of the issues, first of all it didnt get very hot at all, second of all it only gives you enough steam to use for about 15-25secs before the light goes red again and you have to WAIT to for the green light to create more steam to use again .... the tempurature with me waiting for the green light so i KNOW its fully hot AND i give it extra time thinking maybe it was still a little early was warm enough that i could put my BARE hand directly an inch in front of the direct steam spray and NOT get too hot that i had to pull away!!! ..... now here is where im the most ANGRY, when the steam runs out it starts spraying water..... this happend to me, i was cleaning a stain on my mattress one yr old mattress thats under warranty for 10yrs (only covered under warranty if it has no stains, i was trying to clean a clear stain that happend while eating in bed) .... anyways aside form the point, it was squirting BLACK water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! onto my white mattress which was otherwise in great condition ..... i couldnt figure it out i thought it was all in my head sooooo..... i take the lid off and pour out the water and its a little thick (like a thin oil) and VERY black, and it has these flakes in it that look like ashes!!!!!!!! .... i have NO CLUE what they are!!!!!! or what happend to the machine that this happend.... its like the motor blew on the first use or something???? maybe got peices into the water??? which is still sensless and unexplainable i sent eureka an upset email and they have done NOTHING not even apologize!!!!!!!!! it broke down the DAY i bought it and i returned it back to the store IMMEDIATLY.... i DO NOT recommend this product, a steam cleaner is supposed to "clean" but this one just made a nasty mess that cant be cleaned .....
