This is a short list of some of the many possible combinations of oils for beneficial use. There are 100s of oils and 1000s of blends of these oils that are known to offer certain benefits to the user. Below is a very short list of some of the more well-known blends. The list are generally arranged in descending order. No formula is given, because there are so many different formulas that we feel it is best for each person to try different combinations until they discover the one that best suits their needs and sensibilities.* No oils on this list should be taken internally or used directly on the skin.  And no more that 3 -  5 drops should be used at one time. All essential oil blends should be mixed at a ratio of 1:100 for direct application directly on the skin. May also be used in steam/vapor/bath/message lotions or boiled into a brew to be added to bath or facial steamer. Use with care. Note the effects and make adjustments until the desired effect is reached. Always begin with the smallest amount. Add more with careful consideration and caution. Small amounts wisely used can give great benefit. Overdone, more harm than good will occur. Some carrier oils to consider are: Grape Seed and Almond. Two non-oil bases that also work well are Golden Jojoba and Glycerin. We also recommend adding these blends to bath salts, bath scrubs, body polishes, and melt and pour soap bases.

As I stated at the beginning of this guide, there are 100s of essential oils available on the market today. This is simply the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the possibilities. However, these oils, if blended to the proper ratio can be used in lotions, soaps, bath salts, and other direct to the skin applications. And as with anything where there is even a slight risk of a negative reaction, test a small, properly blended drop behind the knee. Wait 24 hours. Check for a reaction (redness, itching, swelling, or other undesirable results) before proceeding with use. Enjoy the process!
