I noticed that none of the dealers provides a money back guarantee for longer than two weeks and most only provide an exchange if the item is malfunctioning.   That is why I read everything I could before I committed.

I had an appointment to have the hairs on my chin professionally lasered.  When I ordered this toy, I canceled the appointment; I wanted to give the Epila a chance.  I want it to work, but I am not sure it does much more than provide me with sizzling entertainment.

I tried it on my coarse chin hairs then I plucked most of them out.  I left one and am monitoring it.

I fried that hair all the way down to the skin line, it even fried the skin a little.  A few days later, the hair had either grown or was in the process of being shed.  I fried it again.

I go over the upper lip where I have fine hairs.  This area is supposed to take several professional treatments, so I can't say if it is working yet.

More hairs are sprouting on the chin.  I fry them as they appear.

The beam doesn't seem strong enough to penetrate the skin to reach the follicle of the heavier hairs.  I still treat the area where I know the hair will sprout, hoping the beam will prevent the hair from re-emerging.

I fried some hair in a patch on my leg.  Did not tweeze.  It appears as if the hair has kept growing.  I will give it another treatment.

The Epila has a very small beam.  It would take forever to do the legs.  The actual beam is not as large as the red dot; it is about the diameter of a medium weight human hair.  I find my beam to be a little to the lower right of the red dot.  I don't know if the red dot is a guide or if it is the laser scattering as it reflects off my skin.

If  I don't write more, I gave up and quit using it.
