It has been two months since I purchased the Epila.
I have been playing at it several hours a week.
I singe a dark chin hair down to the skin until the heat from the hair burns my skin. The hair appears to grow back. It may slow down a little, but the same hair, treated several times is still there until I lose patience and pluck it out.
The beam does not appear to penetrate to the follicle.
The heat from the burning hair may cause some damage to the follicle, but not until after several treatments.
I am also treating an area that has had several hairs, but were plucked out before treatment. They do seem to be slow growing back in. It seems like some of them would have been in the anigen phase when I plucked them. This may be working. I am still experimenting.
