I have been fooled more than once by photos of coins that actually look so much better than the actual coin. I have yet to receive a coin that looks as good as the photo it is auctioned with. I am just going to purchase coins that are slabbed by one of the reputable appraisers. If you go with slabbed coins, you more than likely will not have headaches.
