Many ebayers have trouble finding brand name apparel wholesalers. Examples include Prada, Gap and Coach. The reason for this lack of wholesalers is simple. many of these companies do NOT go through wholesalers. Instead they sell direct. to buy from them you usually have to:
  • Apply for credit from the manufacturer
  • Your company has to be a state licensed reseller
  • You have to show that you have the capital to buy in bulk
  • You must sign agreements that you will not sell their items on online auctions
  • For many of them you have to have a store with their name on it. Examples include Gap, American Eagle, Abercrombie & Fitch
Many wholesale list offer wholesalers for these manufacturers. The truth is that these listings are for retailers disguising themselves as wholesalers and often the products are knockoffs or fakes.

The following is a list of companies that sell direct and do NOT have wholesalers Please note that this is not a complete list:
  1. Abercrombie & Fitch

While you won't find  wholesalers for these manufacturers, a knowledgeable seller of a wholesale list can tell you how to turn a retailer into your personal wholesaler.  I have tried to do that by creating a regularly updated Wholesalers/ Drpshippers/ +More list.

Try these tips:
  • Contact the parent company. Be extra, super nice. Act a little bigger than you are (but not too big). They might give you tips on getting theese items at a discount or even wholesale. They might even sell these to you direct.
  • Look at companies that sell overstock or shelf pulls by the pallet. There are 3 or 4 good ones in the USA.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Good Luck and happy selling
