Ebay is fantastic!! Heck, I came up with the idea of a online auction site myself. The only problem is it was 1976 and the internet hadn't been invented yet;  at least for us the normal folk  (Al Gore had his internet already)  Anyway whats better than a place where people from anywhere can sell anything to anyone else.  I am still looking for a Telly Savalas wig,  if you know where one is at,  please let me know.

Here are the secrets of Ebay:

1. Be honest. If the blender is broken say so. Don't try and blame it on the mail man. His job is hard enough already. Represent the items you are offering in an open, honest way. Perhaps you have a medieval jockstrap that you know will really drive the bids up. Maybe you should spend some time on www.medievaljockstrapdotcom  and educate yourself on the fine attributes of this item before posting it for sale. Don't make the seller figure out the facts. Lay it all out for the bidder to see.  In other words, SELL IT TO THE BIDDER.

2. Be concise with ads.  I the bidder, don't really care why Aunt Betty kept the blender for 85 years and that she only used it liquefy goat spit.  I am the bidder, and I dream of the day when I have the largest blender collection in the universe. thats it.  Blender collection.  Give them the details. Just the facts please.

3. Learn to take clear pictures.  Other than the title, clear beautiful pictures will sell your items.   If you don't know how to take good pictures, then go to www.ebay.com and buy a nice new digital camera.  Most cameras are simple to use and will take fantastic shots if you just read the instructions that are included in the box.

4. Maintain good lines of communication.  If its going to take you a few extra days to ship something then tell the winning bidder.  Do not assume the other guy knows what you are thinking(millions of marriages are runined by this assumption)

5. Be honest with feedbacks.  If someone has done you wrong, leave appropriate feedback.  If someone has done a fantastic job then by all means let the world know.  This whole shebang will only work correctly if the feedback system is used honestly.

Thanks for your attention. Enjoy your Ebay experience.            Buy my stuff.
