Shipping costs can kill your auctions.  Get to know as much as you can about shipping costs and how to use them to your benefit.  There are a couple of great things to know right now through the USPS.  1. Flat rate shipping!  How easy is that???  You have 3 options currently.

a. There is a flat rate priority envelope available.  Anything that fits in that envelope will cost $4.05 to ship anywhere in the US no matter what it weighs.  You can fit a lot of 8 x 10 sheets of paper which weigh a lot but will still be reasonable shipping costs.  This is a great way for someone else to claim your sheets of paper that just don't work for you and then a chance for you to buy the latest and greatest new embellishment.   You spend less time weighing the package and listing it.  Grab an envelope which is a nice lightweight cardboard, fill it, and sell it!

b and c. There are 2 flat rate priority boxes which ship for $8.10 anywhere in the US.  Both boxes, like the envelope, are free from the post office.  You can pick them up at your local post office or go to usps.com and order shipping supplies.  They will be shipped to your door or to your po box and you'll be ready to go.  One of the boxes is square and the other is rectangular in shape.  Trust me.  You can put really heavy items in those boxes and save bunches on shipping costs.

People love a bargain so get your free shipping supplies at your local post office or by ordering them at usps.com.  The lower your shipping costs are the more buyers you can attract to your auctions.  The more you sell, the more you can buy!  :)
