I am starting to realize that quite a few of my customers have never bought an eBook before.  I decided to share my simple step by step instructions that I email to a customer who is new at reading eBooks.  Please feel free to share it with your customers as well (if you are a seller, that is).  I featured this as a custom page at my eBay store.

If you are new to eBooks, WELCOME!

Everything is really easy to do and completely safe for your computer.

The files you get from me are ZIP files (something.zip)

That is to make the files smaller and easier to upload and download.

To open it up, you use a program like WinZip. If you have a computer with Windows XP or already have WinZip just skip ahead.

WinZip is free to download and use.  (I give a link to my customers on their download page)

If you do a lot of eBook shopping or downloading online, you will use this program a lot.

After you have downloaded and installed the WinZip program, just double click on the (something .zip) files you got from me. The WinZip program should "extract" them for you automatically.

What you will get now is a .PDF file. You need a PDF reader BUT I am 99% positive you have this on your computer already (and may not know it). It is another free program. It is very widely used. I have a copy of my mortgage on .PDF  ( I give a link to the Adobe reader on my download pages)

Before you try installing it, I would just try and open the .PDF because it will probably open for you automatically. If not, go get the reader...again its free.

Once the file is open....you are reading your eBook.  You can print all the eBooks you get from me (some PDFs might not have that option)
