This is an actual guide to Signed Modern Classics, not just a listing of the books.  There have been a total of 64 books produced for Signed Modern Classics.  The series was started in 1999.  The complete list is published below in numerical order starting with the first book published for the series.  I have also included the approximate release date.   Easton Press currently charges $79.50 with shipping and handling for each book.  Only a few titles are in stock at one time.   Some titles are out of stock for several years (titles are out of stock a lot longer than in other series).  Easton Press will remove any books you do not want from the series.  It is possible to purchase individual titles directly from customer service. 

Price
Easton Press started increasing prices on several series in 2006/2007.  This series will probably have a price increase in the near future.  You should order at least one book from this series if you have ever thought about subscribing to the series to lock in the lower price.  Easton Press used to guarantee the lower price for a short period of time if you are an existing subscriber. 

What Discontinued Books are the Most Valuable?
The only books officially discontinued so far are books from authors who have recently died.  I suspect some of the books will never come back to the market and several additional authors may die soon.  There are different policies regarding author's death.  You can purchase up to two of some deceased author's books if they are in stock.  Easton Press now requires you to buy 10 other books from this series before you are allowed to purchase the few remaining copies of Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse Five.  This is by far the most stringent requirement ever placed on the purchase of a book from this series.  Of course the book will be a huge investment opportunity in the near future.  Below are the most valuable books with average Ebay selling price over the last several years.

     -One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - $550-$1600      (Two versions.  One with author's artwork - the other copy is plain.
     -Inherit the Wind - $340

     -Chosen - $120

How to Receive Faster Shipping
It may take several weeks for your order to arrive if you purchase an individual book from the series.  It also takes other books ordered from Easton Press several weeks to arrive.  This is because book orders are collected together and shipped out when enough orders are placed.  It is possible for customer service to "drop" your order.  This means the order will ship the following Saturday for orders placed before 1:00 PM EST on Wednesday.   Dropping an order tells the warehouse to actually pack up the book and ship it out.  The closer you are to the East Coast, the sooner your book arrives since Easton Press is located on the East Coast.  The most economical expedited shipping method is to have your book go out UPS ground.  This will "drop" the book and send it out faster than the USPS.
