This is a guide to books by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr from Easton Press. There have been a total of 19 books by Kurt Vonnegut produced by Easton Press in various forms - signed and unsigned.

The signed copy of Sirens of Titan is the only title with two different types of artwork. See the photos below. The copy on the left is from Masterpieces of Science Fiction. The copy on the right is a stand alone version. Easton Press also did an unsigned copy of Sirens of Titan for Masterpieces of Science Fiction with the exact same artwork as the signed copy. Be very careful if you buy a sealed copy of this book since it is impossible to tell if the book is really signed. Easton Press now puts "signed copy" on the spine of books that are signed. Unfortunately, the company has not adopted this change to signed books from Masterpieces of Science Fiction. As of 2009, none of the signed books from that series have "signed copy" on the spine. Print Runs
Most every SIGNED title listed only had about 1000 copies printed except for Slaughterhouse Five. Slaughterhouse Five had four print runs of about a 1000 copies. For some reason, Slaughterhouse Five does have a rare light blue leather (left side) and the more common dark blue leather (middle). I think the light blue leather is the first print run and the darker blue is from the later print runs. The different colors may have been manufacturing variations.
The unsigned titles will probably continue to have multiple print runs of 1000-2500 copies each. Easton Press usually does about 1000 copies for the Masterpieces of Science Fiction. They have done about 2 print runs of the unsigned version. Easton Press has probably done about 3 print runs of Slaughterhouse Five for Great Books of the 20th Century (top right photo). Each print run has about 2500 to 3000 copies. There may be about 9000 copies of the unsigned book in print as of 2009. (Great Books 20th Century for Sale)
Titles with Greatest Appreciation Potential
Undoubtably, Slaughterhouse Five will become the most valuable book in the series. The book is almost sold out. I anticipate that once this book is sold out, it will become very valuable. Cat's Cradle is currently the runaway success with several copies hitting $500 to $700 on Ebay. This book also did very well before Vonnegut's death averaging about $300.
The only true Signed First Editions (see review on Easton Press First Editions) are surprisingly not that valuable. Fates Worse Than Death has seemed to go from about $100 before Vonnegut's death to about $200 in late 2007. Timequake has gone from about $150 to $300. Bamboo Snuff Box went from $125 to $200 with a recent copy selling for $400. All three of these books were sold out at the time of Vonnegut's death. Given this trend and a selling price of about $275 for Slaughterhouse Five. It is possible to see this book sell for about $500-$600 in the near future. The book could go even higher decades from now.
