( This maybe long but is well worth the read; it covers 2 days of a classic bad dealing on ebay with the seller Craig McKinney and Eastcoast Wholesales Inc )

So much for 5 star customer service.  Pfffsssttt!!!!!!!!  He takes offense when you call him out on bad service yet....you are still stuck holding the bag.

The person who makes a 'ticky' at the bottom of this review and guide stating this isn't a helpful review,  must be Craig McKinney himself or his mom.  BUT for those who potentially would buy from Craig McKinney will find this review very enlightening and could save them more than just their money.    Who in their right mind would buy from this guy who harasses and makes false claims against his 'valuable customers'?

Most people walk away when they are harassed but I'm tired of being bullied by men with low self esteem; who feel they have to crap all over you because of their own insecurities.  Its easy for him to hide behind his computer, I'd like to see what he'd do face to face.  THAT would be very interesting.

Attached below are emails per-batum.   After you read...do you want to buy from him?  I know I don't.  Save your money and stress level rising.  Pay the extra with someone else because you will pay more than the bottom line with Craig McKinney and Eastcoast Wholesale Inc.

This is nutz.  I am still waiting for UPS to deliver this item.  It has been back and forth the border 2 times being bounced around from one depot to another.  Now I learn...the brokerage fees are more than the shipping costs.  This is SOOOOO wrong.  USPS is cheaper and I would ahve had the heater by now.  Maybe a consideration to evaluate when you ship things to your Canadian Customers.?

Craig writes:

we ship everything by ups.  usually your country clears it and then gets it right out.  i cannot control your countries customes.

if you email me your name and address so i can idenitfy you i would be glad to look up your shipping info and call ups to find out if there is a problem or what is going on.

we dont ship usps as it is located about 1 hour from our warhouse plus usps damages alot of packages compared to ups.

I write:

Your response is as much as I expected.  Instead of solutions, i get excuses with dismissal.  Bottom line, the message i get from you is...'it aint my problem.'

Some '5 Star' Service....it stinks.  As usual...lip service with ZERO satisfaction.  You have cured me from buying from the USA.  You are not alone with promises of good service and all one really gets is the runaround and pass the buck/not my fault attitude that leaves one feeling jaded/ripped off and royally disappointed.

YOU chose UPS, they ARE an extension of YOUR service.  I didn't choose them.  Pack your products properly and USPS won't damage them.  Simple.  By your statement of using USPS and it damaging doesn't seem to be the whole story.  Distance didn't seem a problem when you used them but now it is?

Instead of LEARNING from my email, you chose to make excuses.  Getting my address and name to look into UPS isn't going to solve this.  You may as well do peroettes and jumping jacks....it would have the same outcome as what you call assistance.   If you read my email carefully, you would have understood that my dissatisfaction in UPS is wanting more money than what you charged for shipping.  It is disceiving thinking you are going to pay 40 dollars for shipping when in escense...it is going to be over 80 dollars.  Wouldnt that just burn your ass if this was you?  For ALL the verbage on your site...there is NO mention about shipping costs over doubling by the time it reaches you.  Your site specifically says $40.00 for Canada.

I have some thinking to do.  IF this item ever arrives, I just may return it to you....  This additional cost unforseen really has me pissed off.  Wouldn't YOU feel deceived?

Craig writes:

got a message from ups about your heater.  it is no ones fault because you live in a very remote area there is not a daily ups delivery to your town.

i also went to usps and put in the weight and dimensions of your box and you would have paid 22 more dollars to have it shipped by usps compared to ups.

below is all your info.  looks like they will be delivering it soon.

thanks

I write:

Love the lip service...  too funny...AND it is called for because that is exactly what you are giving...lip service.

You can't add either.

You say 22 dollars more?  OK...lets do some math here.

The $40 you charge then plus the $22 extra USPS would charge comes too?

Very good...$62.00.  Im impressed.

Now..UPS...

$40 dollars you charged plus $42.50 extra ?  Now...what does that come to?

What?...you say that is less than USPS... I do digress.  Don't know where you learned math but here in Canada...Im being charged $42.50 MORE than what you charged.  Whether it be $22. extra or $42.50 exta...it is still over and above the $40.00 originally charged

You are a slow study so I will attempt to be kinder.

Did I say anything about UPS saying I live remote? No...... I did not.  Do you take that for a fact that I live remote?  Obviously you do but I don't live remote...at all.  I live 150 feet from the Trans Canada Highway....hardly remote.  That is someone elses false belief/assumption that I live remote.  This is again...a switch a bait / diversion from the facts.

To the crux of it all?  You charge $40 dollars for shipping to Canada.  It doesn't cost 40 dollars shipping because Im getting nailed at this end for another approx. $42.50 over and above; a charge that I wasn't aware of, a charge not explained in your auction.  You may not like being 'wrong', being called a 'deceitful person' but that is EXACTLY what you are.  If you were honest/humble, I wouldnt be writing this email.  Im pissed.  You not only avoid the issue, you ignore it.

Im amazed you figured out who i was with UPS as I gave you no information other than my order number, so your need to ask me for it all only tells me how lazy you are.  See,? you can look things up....you arent totally hopeless.

Thanks for the lip service and the further annoying empty useless emails you send that do not rectify the problem, provide an apology, ensure that future people who buy your products from Canada get a decent and upfront honest assessment of what shipping charges really are....bla bla bla.

You have helped me make my decision.  I am refusing this parcel and I want a refund.

You have a lovely day.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So there you have it.  5 star service from Eastcoast Wholesales Inc.  Do you wanna shop from this guy?  You take your chances and if all goes well...fabulous but when it goes wrong....that 5 star service comes into play.  What a joke....and a real bad one at that.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

WOW, day 2 of this man Craig McKinney.

This second insert is warranted and people should know how this man does 'business' .

Just to be clear, I am not angry because of duties, I am angry because Craig McKinney' service is SOOO lacking with a real bad creepy attitude.  This comment is in reflection to his 'feedback' on this sale.  . . . and after his unfavourable feedback in someone elses feedback and my feedback with lies, UNBELIEVABLE, this followup is necessary!!!

His 5 star services includes harassing phone calls at 5:28 a.m..  Three of them to be exact.  He calls you rude , compliments one person on one feedback with a dig to me in the same feedback about my manners; when the only one being rude is himself.  It  amazes me when people call other people names and they happen to hit it on the head in retrospect as what they call you. . . is exactly what they are....and in his case...rude with real bad manners; very childish indeed.  Funny how others have said the same about Craig McKinney in how he deals with criticism.  It just goes to show how tactless, ineffective, unbusiness like and immature this Craig McKinney is.  His actions and words speak for itself.  He's a  nightmare!!!!!!!!

He guarantees to solve any problem.  In my case...he ignored it.  The company he uses, UPS to ship his products is charging over $40 dollars ... an additional cost over and above what he charged to ship the item.  He figures, nope, not his problem...so ignore.  If he used USPS...additional charges are non existant when items cross the border into Canada.  He ignores and calls me rude.

Just because the product leaves his warehouse doesn't mean his job is over.  From Craig McKinney's actions, it is so.  He's done.  Job is over.  Whoever he chooses to use as a delivery service and whatever is the cheapest at his end is sufficient.  What this shipping company does after the fact is a non issue for him.  Its a deception.  UPS uses brokerages who soak you at the other end with brokerage fees...NOT duty.  USPS does not.  Im learning the hard way.  If Craig McKinney had on his website for his valued customers about UPS and how their shipping costs would be over double by the time the product reaches them across the border, those 'valued customers' could make an educated assessment of their costs before they bought whether they wished to pay a brokerage over double what the shipping costs are.  But oh, I forgot, Canadian's are not valued customers to Craig McKinney.  He ignores them.  Just take the money and run.

You bring to light a problem to Craig McKinney and his 5 star guarantee is you will get nothing but a headache.  That is 100% guaranteed.  He is a 'sunny day businessman'.  Just don't rock the apple cart because, it will rain and folks...when it rains...it pours.

Craig McKinney chose to cause friction with ignoring my grievance; instead of using the information I provided as a learning tool, a way to help out his 'valued customers' by looking for the most cost effective AND user friendly way to ship his products.  But he didn't do that.  He chose to infuriate by ignoring the issue and providing useless lip service.

He says 'Eastcoastwholesales will always provide our 'five star service' all the time to our valuable customer.'  A direct quote from his auctions.  From my experience, it is only a ruse so you buy with a false sense of confidence in this seller.   I guess Im not the valuable customer but he liked my Canadian money.  I guess to Craig McKinney, it is rude to speak up when you believe you have been wronged and when the problem is ignored.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now Craig McKinney emails me....this is real sad....

we will no longer deal with you at all. you are the rudest person in the world. no wonder no one likes canada and sells to canada bec. they have to deal with people like you.

thanks for being a rude miserable person bec. now i am not going to sell to canada anymore which will save us alot of rude emails in the future

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Boo Hoo!!!!!!!!

If Craig McKinney looks at my feedback, he will see that many American sellers on Ebay just love me.  Treat all people fairly, with dignity and respect, no problem.   What a sad sack, this is how he deals with his valuable customers, turns tail and runs and plays the martyr.  The kitchen got a little hot for him.  Us bad Canadians are so mean.  Oh brother.... :S

Quit blaming Canadians for your lousy problem solving skills.

If Craig McKinney doesnt sell to Canadians....fabulous.  Who needs his hit and real bad misses when dealing with his 'valuable customers'.  Good riddance.
