Well sellers........we ve heard it all ...havent we ??? Excuses why buyers cant pay right now, even though, they are fully aware of sellers rules & guidelines...My fellow sellers, lets see if any /or all of you have heard any of these...the following are actual lines buyers have tried to use to either weasel out of paying or"buy" ( no pun intended ) more than the alloted time in order to fulfill their obligation to complete the transaction.....here we go..

1.) "i was on my way to the post office to pay, and  i ran over my daughters cat in the driveway...."  poor kitty, but at least it was spared any further time living with this moron..

2.) "i lost my job"....( this buyer continued to bid on and win and pay for  other sellers items to the tune of several hundred dollars , but couldnt complete a $10.00 transaction with me )

3.) after two weeks of emails and  an unpaid claim, a buyer told me " i just dont want to pay for it, but its ok for you to give it to me " one of only three times i ve ever left a negative feedback, with a big smile ...........

4.) "i dont want to pay that much, how about ten dollars less  ??" ( this was an old coin won for about 15.00 , worth around 40.00 catalog )

5.) "my purse ( wallet ) was stolen, im afraid of indentity theft" .......trust me people, no one would want to be this idiot......

6.) "i forgot, i bought same coin from another seller, so i dont want yours now ".. even though the buyer won mine almost two weeks earlier !!!!!!

7.)"you never sent me an invoice ".. even if true, that does not relieve you of the obligation

8.)"you charge too much for shipping..."  how about advising me of that BEFORE you win ???

9.)"not a good enough / clear enough picture of item(s) , so, i dont want it ..."  fine, enjoy your negative feedback , by the way, this was after ten days + of no answer to my emails

10.)" i ll pay you next week on payday .." this was after two and a half weeks of ignoring our emails,  when we clearly state that the buyers must pay within seven days

11.) "can you wait two more weeks ?? i want to bid on some other of your items..."  then , this buyer not only did not bid on anything else, but decided to "retire" from ebay by closing their acount , and flaking on their obligations, this has happened at least three times to us....

12.)"how about you send it to me first, if i like it, i ll pay for it, if not,  i ll send it back within  30 days...."   HOW ABOUT  WE ADVISE  YOU WHERE TO GO , AND WHAT TO DO WITH IT WHEN YOU GET THERE ?????

13.) "i cant pay , because my son, daughter , wife , mother, father, grandma, grandpa, cat, dog, hamster,ferret etc. is in the hospital ..." ok, then WHY ARE YOU BUYING STUFF ON EBAY??by the way, each time this lame excuse was used, the buyer was not only buying from other sellers, but waited quite awhile to inform us of this "illness"

14.) "i dont feel you re qualified to represent this hobby ..   ( coin collecting ) so, i wont pay for this item " i am qualified enough to leave a negative ......i guess 40 + years of buying & collecting coins makes me completely inept regarding this hobby .....

15.)  "im having computer problems..i ll pay next month" this is one of my favorites, i hear it about every other month , or so

16.) "my home was burglarized, i cant pay.."a very good reason, except, like others, this person continued to bid on and win items from other sellers

Ok, i guess everyone gets my point...BUYERS ,if you cant complete the transaction within the alloted time, DONT BID!!!!!!!!! PLEASE dont waste my time and yours, we, who are sellers take EBAY seriously,and its very frustrating to deal with people who are dead-beats, and / or play games with us....also, EBAY is starting to really crack down on slow pays, and deadbeat bidders , so, its in your best interest to complete the transaction as quickly as possible  ..THANK YOU ALL.......
