Dictionary Of The Esoteric
This book was originally published in 1985 under the name The Dictionary Of Mysticism and the Occult and was republished in 1992 and again in 2002 to keep up with the modern magickal movement. This is an A-Z format with keywords headings on the top of the page. The text refrences many terms, myths, legends, gods/goddess, places and much more in short conicse mini paragraphs and includes short bios on the famous and infamous in the magickal arts along with excerpts from relative texts and sources. If you have an older version, it would be well worth to update to the most recent publishing. This book is a valuable resource and one that I have found over the years to come in handy when reading other texts or when I am looking for a memory hit because I know it but just can't put my finger on it at the moment.
