Hi - I jumped on the Ebay Bandwagon - many years ago - and my experience has been nothing short of amazing. I truly love the site - love the help I receive-and most of all love the places Ebay has taken me via computer! I sold a Kalamazoo several years ago and I write on a weekly basis to the owner in Oregon. I sold a booklet to a Wadsworth relative and beer items to relatives of the Bartholomay family - without Ebay - I would never have connected.
My advice to the newcomer - be honest, fair, and answer your emails right away. If you don't know something - don't pretend you do - try to research and find the answer. And pack your merchandise well, mailing as soon as payment is received. I love my 100% feedback. Early on in my selling experience - I didn't understand the importance of the feedback - and so often never did it - but it is very important. When you are bidding, read the sellers feedback; When you are selling do your best and it will be good.
Since those early days, Ebay has come eons to improve their site and all of their guides, selling info, are great. Use the tools to guide you in becoming a super power seller.
I also am happy to answer questions and email and to help the guy out there who doesn't know - so if someone reading this guide has a question, please feel free to contact me. My Ebay user ID is "wrighttreasure" and I wish you all a great Ebay experience.
