I have been selling Ed Hardy T-Shirts and tank tops for over a year and have been doing a lot of research to help myself and buyers feel comfortable in purchasing Ed Hardy clothing with peace of mind. First of all let me talk about Ed Hardy's tags.  Many people jump to conclusions in identifying Ed Hardy tags.  Ed Hardy's shirts and tank tops all have different kinds of tags but the main tag you should focus on is the serial number tag.  The fake Ed Hardy's have a white line on the bottom after it says Ed Hardy and the serial numbers do not look digital as the authentic shirt and also the threads are not lined up neatly. Below in bold is a helpful website to use when buying a shirt.

Also, many people believe that when it the item says "Made in China" it is fake.  I called up the Official Website telephone number for Ed Hardy  (310-945-4605) and they said 60% of the items they sell are made all around the country.  But not all Ed Hardy items that are made in China are fake, Authentic Ed Hardy tank tops and pants could be made in China, Portugal, and of course USA.

I for one have been buying and selling Ed Hardy tank tops that have been made in China.  If you check the official website,  http://www.donedhardy.com/ and click on Store locater, it will give you numerous stores of "Authorized" Ed Hardy stores.  One of these stores in CA is Planet Funk which also has a website.

When you go to their online website: (www.planetfunk.com) and click on some of their clothing, you will see that some of them are listed as "Made in China".

Also, if you wanted more resources, you can go to another trusted major retail store website such as Macy's (www.macys.com) and search for Ed Hardy items.  Of course, most will say "Made in the USA" but there are also other items, for example Jeans or belts which say, "Imported"
