Take the time to look at items without pics, as most people won't look at them so you'll get them far cheaper. I mean without a gallery picture, rather than no pic at all. That's a tad risky.

Also look at ones with vague descriptions like "new shoes". It's worth a look, and no one else will.

If you're looking for a brand name then try a common misspelling, as no one will find it in a search. for example "xbx" instead of "xbox". This is really common as many sellers don't proofread!

Try looking for things on Saturday or Friday night before you go out as it's a dead time for buyers. Any auctions ending on Friday and Saturday will go for less than on other days.
