Simply Easy & Affordable Romantic Suggestions To Assist Men In The Romance Department:

     Here are a few ideas to assist the clueless or just those who need some new ideas when it comes to romancing their partner! Are you tired of hearing if only you could be MORE like that! Or hearing your partner awe at those sappy parts of the movies that you just can't bare to watch! Well if your secretly wishing you could think of great ideas to swoon your loved one, then this guide is the one for you!

1. A Bouquet of Love! Send flowers! Colorful arrangements don't have to break the bank & are sure to brighten anyones day, especially if they come with a adorably soft teddy bear/a balloon that says "I Love You" or "Just Because".  For affordable arrangements check out your local Sam's Club (if your fortunate enough to be a member) or your local Wal-mart if your not. At both places you will be able to find really nice vases that won't cost an arm and a leg. Make sure to get an appropriate flower card to attach with your name and a sweet note such as "last night was magic" or "to the beauty who bestills my heart". Simple Hints...you can mail it to their place of employment (major brownie points since she can show it off to the co-workers) or place it on dining room table or in clear sight where she'll be sure to see it right away.
2. Tubbin' ! Buy a box of Calgon or a bottle of Neutrogena Rainbath (both similar to bubble bath with Calgon being a few dollars and Neutrogena being quite more) and draw her a relaxing warm bath after a stressful day. You can also draw a wonderfully scented bath by adding rose petals to plain water. To one up this you can add candles to the bathroom to create a calming ambience and even a radio with soft music. Be sure to have a wash cloth and towel readily available along with a bathrobe. Great Idea...usher her to the ready drawn tub and then invite her to idea 3 afterwards.
3. Bon Appetite! Create or purchase a nice meal and have it ready for when she arrives. No! This doesn't mean KFC, Long John Silvers, McDonalds, Burger King or similar fast food places. For an easy & affordable meal you can buy a box of spaghetti noodles, a jar of spaghetti sauce, and a can of pilsbury breadsticks (remember...it's the thought that counts). Next place flowers on the center of the table or a few different sized lit candles. Hint...a nice scented candle works great with Lavender being a relaxing scent and Mint being a energizing scent.
4. Movie Night! You can follow up idea 2 & 3 by this great idea for a romantic evening. Rent or Purchase a movie for both of you to watch together, and YES...actually watch it! Be sure not to pick horror or action flicks. Depending on your loved one I would readily suggest movies such as dramas or comedies depending on the mood your aiming for. Suggestions: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Sleepless in Seattle,Titanic-1997, While you were sleeping, Ghost, Dirty Dancing, Pretty Woman and The Wedding Singer. If you don't have a dvd or vhs player you can always rent through On Demand or go to any theatre within your local vicinity. Hint...Suggest to her you would like to pick up or go see a good movie and ask her for suggestions of anything that she's seen previews for or has heard of that looks pretty good. Stick a bow on the movie and have it laying on the bed or place the movie tickets in a envelope or card that tells her when to be ready! Create a movie night bucket-Popcorn bucket with 2 micro. popcorn, 2 different movie theatre sized boxes of candy, 2 small bottles of pop and add a movie or tickets to the theatre.
5. Shop 'Til She Drops! Offer to take her out for the day/evening shopping and actually pay attention to what she says to you. Don't make suggestions or ask "what about this one" unless you are asked. Just be there for companionship and as a cart pusher if need be. Paying will give you HUGE brownie points. Suggestions: If she comes out of the fitting room with something on be sure to say things that will make her feel great about herself rather than stating things such as " man, that makes your booty look big". Try things such as "that color looks great on you" or "mmm..mmm..mmm...all I can say is bootylicious" or possibly "I already knew you were perfect, but that just accentuates it!...and a proper smirk or gentle pinch of the booty will normally come across as playfully interested.
6. Jewelry? Jewelry can be great for most-Pay attention to what she wears or ask a family member for help if possible, but some women would much rather spend time with you (especially if you both work or if it seems that you just see each other in passing these days). If she has pierced ears diamond studs or a nice gold hoop will wear easily with just about anything in her wardrobe.
7. Fix 'Er Upper! If there's something she's been nagging about that needs repair or updated take the opportunity to do it while she's away and suprise her with the completion. If your unable to get her away while you do the repair...try letting her sleep in while you get started  or call her friend or family member to see if they can motivate her to go out with them while you get a chance to complete the repairs/updating.
8. ZzzZzz's! Let her sleep in and make breakfast for her! Don't forget the paper & a coffee or Oj!
9. Nighties! Lingerie-know her taste and her size! Check the closet & what she has in the wash...Victoria Secrets doesn't always go over big with everyone!
10. Rub A Dub Dub! Warming massage oil>Nothing says love like a free backrub!
11. I Just Love Them! Does she have a favorite band or author? If so check to see if they have any new works out. Concert tickets for her and a friend are also a nice gesture since most women are interested in guy bands and DEFINATELY do not want to act like a fool in front of their man!
12. Are you Fur Real?! Does she have a love for animals? How about a specific animal? If so, nothing can go over better than a furry friend with a cute bow!  Just be sure to set the money aside to take her for any required necessities...The majority of animal lovers will love going to the store and picking just the right pet spoils! Just make sure the pet is Healthy! If your not sure how to then I suggest you do a bit of research starting with Google. Mainly you want to make sure eyes are bright and clear, bottoms are dry with NO sign of diarhhea, nose is dry without discharge, teeth are intact and properly aligned, Fur is full without bald spots & skin is intact without bumps/abrasions/bruising, and their body appears even>not overtly skinny. I suggest animal shelters before breeders and pet stores since their are too many unwanted pets that are in dire need of a loving home.
13. Pictures & a Bit More! Got kids? If you do a great idea is to get yourself and the rugrats spiffied up for a nice photo for mom. Be sure to pick up a frame for the photo! If your pressed for cash check out places such as Wal-mart or Sears. More often than not you will be able to score a coupon for Mall stores in the Sunday Paper. Photo frames can be found VERY cheap in places such as Dollar Trees. No Kids? That's okay too..get a wallet size picture of yourself and add a personal gift with it too! She's probably not going to come out and ask you for your photo, but is definately likely to be dying to show your picture off to her family, friends and co-workers. The personal gift will show her that your Ego isn't over inflated! Personal gift can be simply a  small bear with a gift certificate attached for a favorite store with the picture nicely concealed inside the gift certificate envelope, a nice bath set from somewhere such as Ulta or Bath and Body Works (coupons can sometimes be found for these places in the Sunday Paper), a bottle of her favorite perfume or body spray. Many stores you can ask a female worker for suggestions..just be sure to ask for something on the LIGHT smelling side. Nothing is worse than receiving something that is OVERLY powerful. Overly powerful will suggest stench! We're aiming for romance or a few brownie points at the very least :o)
14. The Much Needed Break! Got kids and wanna give her a break? Take the kids out for the day and give her a chance to do whatever it is she would like to do. Things that will last at least a couple hours and will be fun for kids...Zoo, Aviary, Park, Science Center, Museum or Kids Museum, Bowling-Especially Cosmic bowling!, Mall (if their teenagers...but be prepared to be asked  to wait in the car or at least walk FAR behind them along with forking over cash for the stuff the just can't live without), Chuck E. Cheese (games/kiddie rides are a quarter and coupons can sometimes be found online, in the sunday paper and on the back of koolaid squeezits or minute maid juice boxes),Miniture golf and amusement parks are just a few that randomly come to mind.
15. I Do I Do I Do! If your already married...suprise her by writing and renewing your wedding vows.
16. I Just Wanna Get Away & Baskets of Hints! A special get away for 2, whether it be a night at a nice hotel or a trip to somewhere where cares seem to fade away and you can relive your youth such as Walt Disney World. Suggestion...if you suprise her with a vacation be sure to make the delivery of it just as special! If your going somewhere that has a beach you can present her with a cd that has sounds of the ocean on it and a card that has a small ziploc- like bag attached to it containing sand with some small seashells inside of it. You could also make a small basket with things such as a beach towel, sunglasses, sunblock, a "themed" or "favorite songs" cd---be sure she has a portable player...if she has a ipod/pc get a music giftcard and include that within the basket so she can purchase her own songs, flip flops and a book/magazine she can read on the ride or flight there. If your planning a COLD getaway such as a ski resort you can place things in a small basket such as a cute pair stretch gloves, matching earmuffs, and a matching scarf and a tube of chapstick...just remember to think COLD!  IF it's a night getaway at a hotel make a special basket for that too! Include things such as a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries/pretzels, warming massage oil, small bottle of bubble bath/bath salts/bath beads, a handful of rose petals for the bed and a small scented candle for next to the tub or on the nightstand (be sure not to forget a lighter for the candle, matches tend to linger the odor of sulfur...and that's definately NOT romantic).
17. Spiff My Ride! For the woman who is all about their ride, or has a ride that is in desperate need---have their vehicle detailed/washed, oil changed and fluids filled... and be sure to finish it off with an airfreshner. Filling the tank with gas is also a greatly appreciated gesture!
18. Picnic Time! A well thought out picnic--- be sure to check the weather and plan appropriately. Picnics can be as simple as a blanket and some peanut butter and jellys along with a beverage of some sort...or can be as extravagant as a bottle of chilled champage, engraved champage glasses showing wedding date...anniversary date...day you met...etc, caviar and crackers and chocolate dipped strawberries/grapes. Do an ant check BEFORE placing the blanket!
19. Sip 'Till Ya Drop! A trip to a winery for taste testing (check for the possibility of cheese and crackers)--be careful with this one...some people can turn nasty when they had a few too many.
20. Open Waters! Got Boat? Put it to use for best viewing of fireworks if possible. Also, their are a few places that you can rent a boat to take advantage of a beautiful sunset/picnic. If she loves fishing this is a great idea!
21. Sloppy Writing Can Be Romantic! Place a romantic poem or love note somewhere she is sure to find it along with a single rose or all by it's lonesome! Also a blank card that opens to say 101 reasons why I love you..and then list the reasons>for a out of this world following if your planning on popping the question...follow by asking and presenting the ring.
22. Let's Get Ready To Rumble!!! -A playful GENTLE pillow fight...be sure to let her win! (silly can end with romance *Wink *Wink)
23. Ho Ho Ho! -Rent a limo for a romantic ride to see the lights. Overly's is great place that has a open fire along with cocoa and warm cookies..and offers sleigh rides or horse drawn carriage rides depending on weather. Look for holiday light festivals in your area!
24. Pick Her Up AGAIN! Tickle her by trying to pick her up in a bar/night club and use cheesy lines such as "How about comin' on over to my place for a night cap cutie"
25. Make Her Beautiful! Treat her to a day at the spa or a manicure. Gift Certificate can be placed within a note card with words such as "Just Because Your Special!"
26.  Scrap Her! If your lucky enough to have some pictures of the two of you...scrapbook them in a photo album and title it with something cute such as "Two Hearts That Became One". You can also add notes/pages such as fond memories of things you did together, About Our First Date, Our First Pet Together, First Thoughts When I Met You, Wishes I Have For Our Future, When My Buddies Realized I Was Really Whipped, What I Told My Folks About You, Our First Kiss, Our First Night Together, etc. The more memorable/personal the more she will appreciate it!
