EASTER BAKED HAM
Although it is Easter breakfast that is a little bit special, ham is considered tradtional by many celebrating Easter as the dinner feature.
Here is a nice way to do up your ham for your special day if you have any room after all the chocolate that is! :)
4-5 pound smoked ready to eat ham
1 can pineapple slices - drain it but save the juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
whole cloves
Score the top of the ham into a diamond pattern. Place into baking dish. Cook covered for one hour at 350 degrees fahrenheit. You are really only trying to get it warmed up since it is already cooked.
Remove from oven and drain off any liquid. Place your pineapple slices on top of the ham and stud with the whole cloves. Spread the pineapple juice over the top. Cook for another half hour without a cover.
It is now ready to serve and beautifully glazed for a wonderful presentation.
