E-L-M-O Dancing Plush - Dancing Elmo!
It's no secret that kids love the Sesame Street character Elmo. It's also no secret that kids love toys that make noise--singing, talking, screeching, whirring--if a toy is noisy, kids will gravitate to it. Now parents can make their kids happy with an Elmo plush doll while helping them learn basic letter and spelling concepts.
A singing and dancing Elmo doll (about 14 inches tall) will spell out the letters of his name (E-L-M-O) to the tune of the once hit song "YMCA." Not only that, Elmo actually uses his arms to form the letters. Even parents will be amazed, amused, and bemused by Elmo's versatile dance moves.
Elmo also helps kids participate by leading them in the equivalent of an Elmo cheer: "Give Elmo an E!" By shouting along with each letter, kids instinctively absorb the concept of using letters to spell words. This toy is actually an award winner, having garnered many accolades in the industry when it was released in 2004. (Note: it requires four double A batteries to operate.)
Of course, as many parents know, there are a variety of Elmo products new and old for kids to love. In fact, Elmo is quite the musical character, and one product for pre-schoolers (Sing With Elmo's Greatest Hits) has Elmo singing five different songs, including the E-L-M-O song and the Hokey Pokey. Neither can one forget the ever popular Tickle Me Elmo™ plush toys that have been delighting youngsters for 10 years now.
