E glide is an Company located in Santa Monica that produces a Quality Product.
Most of there electric skateboards are 600 dollars and up, depending on the size
and type of wheels you want to select. The Board I owned was a Dewey Weber
type and was 48" long and weighed about 50 lbs.. It could go over 20 mph but it
had to be managed by zig zaging left and right, like riding a snowboard. This helped
to maintain your balance and avoid any small items on the ground that could stop you.
Once you mastered the braking it was very fun to ride on smooth sidewalks and
could be used for commuting. The Only drawback I found with a 50 lb. skateboard
was getting on/off the bus. A strong "Back " is required to lift and maneuver it in tight
spaces. I Give this board an 8 on a scale of 1 - 10 , if it lost about 25 lbs and had
better batteries it would be a 10 for sure. Overall Quality is excellent, Made in
the USA by a company who cares about there customers.
