For 15 years I used the media center's die cut machine for making
bulletin boards and school projects. Now these machines are in chain
stores. The demand for die cutters is fueled by the scrapbook industry
which has lowered the price and increased the availability of a really
wonderful tool.

When I began to make textile art cards I wondered if I could use fabric in the machines. The answer is YES!
To use material you need to apply some kind of stabilizer, I iron Wonder Under on to the back of fabric and sent it through the die cutter. Once cut, you just peel of the backing and iron your intricate applique onto a new surface.
