Dust Jacket Cover Application Instructions

for Brodart Brand Quik-Fold

1.5-mil Thick Adjustable Polyester Covers

Step 1  :  Place the dust jacket cover  --  film side down, paper side up  --  on a flat surface.

Step 2  :  Remove dust jacket from book and insert it  --  printed side down  --  between the paper backing and film.

Step 3  :  Position bottom edge of the dust jacket tightly against the edge of the cover where the film and paper are joined together.

Step 4  :  Using the convenient folding guides, fold the paper backing back onto itself until it is even with the edge of the dust jacket and crease in place.

Step 5  :  Fold the film down over the dust jacket and onto the paper backing until snug.  Crease firmly in place.

Step 6  :  Remove the paper from the adhesive tacking strips and place the strips onto the paper backing.  Add more tape if you like.

Step 7  :  Wrap the cover containing the dusst jacket around the book.

Note to All  :  To preserve the value of your book, avoid touching the book or the dust jacket with tape, glue or other adhesives.
