Short and Sweet ~
If your collecting you have by now or should have, any year index guide book of silver art bars, purchased as cheaply as possible or even a photo copy from a friend ~ If you don't, hang it up, your not collecting your guessing / investing ~
We will assume you cannot afford to buy every silver art bar you see on ebay for your collection so let's do the next best thing ~ Target a group ( set ) of bars you would like to collect ~ Purchase them every chance you can afford but with caution as you will have to resell the one you have or the same one you just purchased if it doesn't turn out to be any better than what you already have ~ You want the best looking highest quality grade art bar for your collection that you can find ~ Sell the rest ~ No need to keep them ~
TIP************ You can toss caution to the wind if you find a seller who offers money back within X amount of time ~ Also note that it's not proper to not take advantage of this sellers refund policy ~ It is best to be straight up with the seller in advance of the purchase ~ Tell them your intentions ~ They might even save you some time and either tell you it's scratched, has minor faults, perfect or even send you additional photos for your considerations ~
If you find a seller that works with you stick with them ~ Most will place you on the blocked sellers list if you return to much or become a pain in the a~~ . ~ High quality bars will cost you, that's the bottom line ~ Be prepared to pay and be happy about it ~ Your into collecting for the long term and finding the best is your goal ~ Most sellers photos are stock photos, ask questions about the bar ~
Investing in silver bullion has 3 rules, buy as cheaply as possible, sell as high as possible and never take a loss ~
