Just a short note to everyone about drug testing supplies. These simple dip or saliva tests have a expiration date on them, because the reagents fade with time and the test is no longer reliable. Once the test has expired, it is more likely to give a false negative and allow a user to pass it. Many of the tests on eBay do not indicate if the test is within the expiration date. A few honest sellers say they are expired, and I applaud them!
But be cautious! I know on our tests we gaurantee that the tests have at least a year left on the shelf life. I could source test for far less if I would resell exppired units, but that defeats the entire purpose perople want a screening test for! There are also a lot of questions about what does PANEL mean. Each panel is a test for a specific drug, Simple dip tests can hjave from one to twelve panels. The most common is called the NIDA-5, which includes tests for Cocaine, Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and Opiates. 10 Panel Tests detect amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana, methadone, methamphetamine, opiates, and phencyclidine drug use
Another question that comes up a lot is FDA and CLIA-Waived tests. All of the tests we sell are FDA approved, meaning the are certified to meet the FDA requirements for accuracy. All of our tests are also professional tests, and not specifically designed for home users. While the basic test process is the same, the materials and quality of manufacture can have an impact. All of our tests are professional tests, and CLIA waived? What does that mean? The FDA summed it up best: All home test kits by default are CLIA waived, but not all professional tests are CLIA waived unless they file for the exemption and prove that their is a very negliable chance that a user could make a mistake with their use or interpritation.
