There are several issues you can encounter with a free wholsale dropshipper list directory. I know because I use to run one.

When I started offering dropshippers for free, I felt something was wrong but was not quite sure of it. Until I got an email from one of my customers who 'paid' me to access my dropshipper search engine.

For obvious reasons this person was frustrated. "Why are you giving it away for free when I had to pay for it?".

Good question to say the least.

But then it hit me.

Some people think that 'dropshipping' is a 'get rich quick scheme'.

But it's NOT!

So they sign up with a dropshipper, try to sell it on eBay first and if it doesn't, they screw off.

Basically wasting the drophsippers time and there own.

Having a free dropshipper list is a problem for a real company offering a dropship program and for the serious budding sellers.

In fact, its one of the reasons why dropshipping companies tend to close there dropshipping program because most are small businesses are trying bring some wonderful new products for you to sell but when people who just want to try it and leave it - because they think dropshipping is a 'get rich quick scheme' - It discourages the small business owner and they don't have the man power to manage these 'one time' dropshippers.

So eventually they are forced to shut down there dropshipping program.

This type of individual sellers are people who are tire-kickers and are just looking for a quick buck - not a business. That is a horrible mindset. I know because I use to think like that too.

But when there is an investment involved, the lazy bums are discouraged and only the 'real' people who are looking for a serious change in there financial situation 'WIN'.

The dropshippers are delighted to work with this 'serious' individual because they know the person won't just quit if the don't make a sale initially. They will make the corrections required, whether its on there auction, in there sales pitch or what not and then they will start making sales - Over and over again.

Also free dropshipper directories are never updated or properly managed. In this industry, dropshippers come and go, so proper updates are absolutely necessary.

Remember the saying: "You get what you pay for!"
