Im not very good at sharing things in writing so "bear" with me. Anyway this is more something for thought than a guide. i have have using ebay for along time as a buyer which on the whole was superb. Then we got into selling! the nightmares begin lol, there seems to be a few types of sellers out there ie mr & mrs get rid of my junk for some cash seller(the best ebayers by far), mr & mrs fast buck (evilbayers in my eyes)and mr & mrs part time /full time seller. I have noticed that in many cases when you start sellling here that most people buy some stock, check to see what others are selling at then undercut the price and post costs just to get feedback which is really crazy!! firstly anyone making a second living on ebay or even a primary one have normally worked the margins out to the penny. if you decide to to sell, ignore the mr & mrs fast buck under cutting everyone else. You can tell these by there feedback negs/neut and the fact there flooding the market with the same items to cheaply, put your goods on a fair price with fair profit(which is normaly the case of a business sellar). The problem with all the fastbucks is that they make no proffit give rubbish service and dissapear leaving everyone else with devalued goods and less profit. If you give a good service people will pay full price and come back again because they can trust your service & goods. ebay has alot of very good shops which have been around for a long time, so the more time and effort you put in the better your return in the long run.i dont know if this will help anyone or get read but just though id have ago.
