For those of you who get aggravated trying to align your ink stream and getting gutter dry errors and high voltage faults before the ink gets into the gutter here is a small trick for you to keep the ink running. You will need a small wire and 2 small clips. There is a yellow wire from the gutter tube sensor to the head electronics, Nick the insulation so you can use the wire and clips to ground this wire to the steel body of the print head. On the keyboard hit the wrench button and enter the password service......choose the ink menu and on the screen.. the gutter state on the screen should say wet so now it thinks there is ink in the gutter, Choose sequence to jet run and you will not get the high voltage or modulation faults. Once you get the ink in the gutter and aligned remove the clip from the yellow wire and reseal the insulation, clean the head and you are ready for production printing.
