To those who expected wonderful things to happen with downoading M.S. IE 7.0.

This is Tatonka Rick of  Fourstrings and I hope you were having a wonderful day as I am about to ruin some fun for those who are dying to download I.E.7.- and see the world in new "Rose Colored Glasses": Throw away those glasses, !

Have you always used your quick and handy, right at the "MENU BAR"  Easy-WEBPRINT with it right at your finger tips and always ready to go, always faster than your printers driver ability to spool as fast as this East - WEBPRINT?? Like those Pages from eBay??? Nice and fast, bright and clear???

Then the day came when you downloaded NEW BROWSER 7.0 and expected all sorts of new things ready to happen at your fingertips??? You knew that the new utility went through Beta Testing by someone, right, ...of course right! (said the matchmaker to "Yenta", whoops she was the matchmaker!), Oh well!! What happened to your eBay pages, they won't print!!! Then you right clicked your mouse and your usual menu from the rolldown popped down as usual, with it's choices for your Browser  to make: a literal bevy of EasyPrint choices where your print would literally jump out at you after the printer "snapped" into "LOW" and peeled out and plopped your print right...errrr, right....hello!~???  Where is the wrrrrrr. and plop ...where is my print!??? Well, how about if I use the menu at the menu area on the top with the  "eBay" menu..and there was your ever ready  Easy-Print menu, fast, faster and fastest...well they have always worked , maybe better that the roll-down from the right click on the mouse, right??, of course...right!!

Well, still waiting for your printer to jump into action??? Is your printer even on??? Check that light...is the yellow light blinking???, where is the plug? Where is the battery in the APC, where is GOD??? My  printer's "Easy- WebPrint" is busted, call the phone co...call Sprint, or  call "911", no, call the Techs, they'll know, hmmm, gotta 'wait 46 minutes' well, they picked up after only 33 minutes GREAT!!..."Printer won't print!! Yes sir!! Who?? ABE??? In India, Abe??? Yes, hello!! My printer won't print!! ..Yes I have checked all of the wires into the P.C.?? YES!! Yellow light?? No, ..it's not on!!....Plesae hold a min. I have to pee, be right back!..(puff...puff..huff...puff!)

Abe ?? I'm back, what do you think??? Abe?? Abe!! No, I'm not going to wait another...what??? 55 minutes???

 NO WAY!!!

OKay..you have run the gammut and I will now break the news to you and ol' Abe in India! Your Easy WEBPRINT will NOT work under Browser.7.0 so you have to make a choice...remove your Browser, change ISP's, get new drivers or patches from your Printer Co......yes we know , you just got this new Printer and it is a wonderful ,machine but, it will NOT operate EASY WEBPRINT with YOUR NEW BROWSER!~!~!

What are you to do, the easiest, go to start>Control Panel>Remove Programs>Internet Explorer 7.0> Click>Uninstall> do you really want to remove I.E.7.0?? (snif-snif).Yes!  This is your only choice as the Beta testers never got to check if Browser 7.0 will print under  (Faster than a flying bullet!) "EASY--WEBPRINT"..now go to XXX Browser maker and down load I.E. 6.0 if you ever want to see your Canon print like never before, or stand still, sort of like never before???

Ok, then the choice is plain, I did it, and I checked all of my wires, though I am disabled, and crawling on the floor like a worm, reaching in back like a snake, and feeling my parallel plug screws...all was tight, I remover the print head, cleaned it all out, went to the printers help station and help site as well as Canon's driver site and (at least I updated the driver.(.should' done that months back)...well, I'll never know the excitement of my new browser...so I'll download

I installed the Ol Browser. 6.0 for Windows XP from Microsoft's Download site, and sat down , sweating like a "HOG IN HEAT", plopped down on my special wheel chair for computing...right clicked a page from eBay...what happened..."Whirrrrrrrr, clickety, click...bzzzzzzz, ker-chunkachunk, bah-dah-bing, bah-dah-boom"! " Easy WebPRINT" now works again, as great as always!!And, spools always as slowly as always.

Well, friends and fellow sellers and buyers here on eBay...there is your problem, like it was tattooed on your forehead... EASY WEB-PRINT will NOT operate when you download Internet Explorer's 7.0 browser.~!~!~!

And, it may be happening to many others, as Canon uses the same drivers for many of the same types of printers, and other printers buy the same sorts of srivers for their printers for the same companies that made Easy - WEBPRINT Drivers for Canon, so be ware or be aware, like a cold night and your feet stick out of the blankets ...it's the truth, do NOT tear your printer apart if it stops printing after downloading  a browser, for a browser does much more than look 'n see for you...and I just wanted for you to beware way ahead of time, so I am back writing a guide for you to check that printer problem out with Microsoft first, or one of those techs that may have "heard it through the grapevine"...it just means for you to step back one step and git I.E.6.0 as I.E.7.0 did NOT have much going for it anyway...can you tell yet???

Sorry to have to be the one that tells you to bring your newer Printer back and get your old one back, get the $400.00 bucks for it or the $75.00 from "eBay", but, get it back, and do you know where the "Uninstall-it" from  is??? I still have my 16 bit and 32 bit program, but, of course, use the one that comes with Windows XP or VISTA, and do-it-to-it!

Sorry bretheren, I.E.7.0 was NOT beta tested thouroughly and thank our stars that it was just a printer driver that was tossed for a ride!

It's all up to you and I thank you for listening to my tale of woe!
