Do you have Plans to Build a Business

First off, building a business isn't easy. Its hard work even when it comes to building an online business. Always always have a plan. A bad plan is better than no plan at all. It's also good to remeber that no business start out by making a profit. Making a real profit takes time. It's easier to get a profit from online store because there isn't any real business expense like rent, utilities and employee pay in the real store. Secondly, you must have a product that people wants or needs. That's usually the hard thing to figure out and I am still trying to figure it out to this very day. Why should people by this product from you? Is it cheaper thab other sellers? How or why is it better? And more bla bla bla. Answers will come slowly with time an experience. We willlearn from our mistakes, especially the bad ones.

Secondly, don't list your items in categories that do not allow that gallery view. Why? Because picture capture people eyes before word do. That's why in some ads you see pictures of women breast or jsut a pretty woman. Yea there male pigs, however those breast will catch the eye of every male and they will have to click on the ad just to see what it's about or is there is any more of the lovely young lady to check out. Yes, it's a trap, however it is a very clever one. This doesn't  mean that someone will buy this product, this just means that they will at least look at it.  Also don't make ads with warning of threats. Not responible for lst or stole items unless you buy insurance makes buyers jump.

Pick your categories in your listing wisely for it can mean the different between sales and having no sales at all. If your selling games than how will a person fine the game if it is listed in the collectibles section for example. List correction is one of the most important thing. If need be then your item can be listed in a second category.Creating bad ads leads to low sales as well. Clearly stating what the product is and what it does is a very good start. You have to make the buyers want it or think they have to need it. Some products sell themself while other don't. No hidden information or clever tongue twisting ads. Also stay clear of hidden shipping charges. Hidden fees with sill any chance of having a repeat customer.

Sometimes sellers over look the power of the legendary key words. Since more that half of bay members look for the items that they need by searching. You should make sure that you have a good deal of key words in your listing title. Some time I just add random key words in to the ad. For example, if Spider man or Star wars is real hot right about now, then I add those key words to my add. Those people may have no interest in my item, of maybe they do. But they would have never had seen it or found it by accident if it was not for the use of key words. Adding subtitles to your listing can help, however not that much for it just give you an option to add more key words to you listing. Over all subtitles is a waste of time and money. Also, don't make the text in your add bright yellow or any bight color. That just makes people annoyed and not want to read it. Heavy graphic and flash may look pretty, but it take along time to load on a 56k modem. This is a turn off to people that maybe wait for the ad to load. Most of the time they will close it and look else were.

Don't waste money on buying an ebay store until you are rolling in cash from your profit. Waste is something that will kill your business fast. Buying an ebay store is a waste of time and money. You have to pay forth to sixth dollars a month to keep it open. You get some feature that allow you to save your items in an inventory, however that is a waste of timealso. My advice is create a basic ad and save it in a folder on your desktop of wereever. Use this ad as a template with note pad of some similar program to create other different ads. Save your ads in the ad folder under sub folders with useful names. Doing that will save you time, money . Also you can relist and resell items from the section of your ebay account that is label sold and unsold. Buy an ebay store give you more promotion, buy my advice is to use a regular account and stick with that account as lone as you can.

Don't change your store name every week or month. Once you make a store name then you should stick with it. If you don't then you may run the risk of confusing people or wrost make people think that you trying to hide something. People change there store name all the time and that gets annoying. Most nine out of ten time I can't find the store again.

Once you are done setting up your store you should ask yourself would you buy from this store if you were a customer. Is your add clear state and easy to ready? Is there any surprise charges and shipping fee? Can I find items easily in a simple search? If the answer is no to any of these then it is time you sit back and redo your ebay store for this can me the difference between sales and no sales. Lastly vary in the items that you sell and try to keep things interesting and all should go well.  And it doesn't hurt to tell someone thank you when they buy something from you.
