It Absolutly Astounds me how both Sellers & Buyers can be so Easially Taken for a Ride. There are Buyers spending hundreds of dollars for a so called Unlocked Blackberry Storm put out exclusivlly for Verizon Only. But it didn't take long for all the phone hacker to break the codes and start selling tham at a huge premium, as this Blackberry Storm was the hottest phone to hit the market since the iphone. One of the several things that make this phone so desireable is the size of the screen, it is a touch screen as is the iphone, and aside from several operations it has, the phone is also 3G and the iphone operates on a 3G network, and T-Mobile has a phone that works on a 3G network. but there are inocent people and dishonest seller out there not disclosing that even though the phone may be unlocked and you can use it with your AT&T or T-Mobile sim card. it will not have 3G it will only operate on edge, which is slower than dial up. Verizon operates on their own frequency to avoid this from happening with hackers out there, and they are the only Carrier that has an exclusive with Blackberry with this phone. so you wil never see T-Mobile or AT&T have this phone for sale anytime soon. but the shear fact that these sellers can be so dishonest with the way they are advertising the phone, making buyer beleive that it will operate just like it does on Verizon, which it never will, and these buyers, Shame on them for not doing their homework and find out that the phone will not have 3G which is a big reason why people are buying them. soo I would just like to close with this. Buyers, do your homework, as other buyers who purchased them, call Verizon, or T-Mobile, just ask questions untill you get the right answer before spending hundreds more than you can buy one for from Verizon. I bought one from Verizon for $199 and had to sign a 2 year contract, but at least every button on my phone works, and I have 3G and several e-mail acounts, including Blackberry. see if yours works unlocked. To you sellers out there, SHAME On You! misleading the honest public by not even mentioning that you will not have any 3G. Also, if you walk into Verizon and sign a 2 year commitment and buy one for $199 and take it home and unlock it which costs nothing if you are a computer geek, which most of these resellers are, and you unlock the phone and then sell it on ebay for a profit. the seller will not be able to activate that phone because it is still in your name and you signed a 2 year contract and have not fullfilled it, and now you have a buyer out hundreds of dollars for a phone that he cannot use and doesn't have any 3G. So you will end up giving the buyer a refund and getting your so called unlocked phone back. This is what GREED does to you! Good Luck to all you Buyers & shame on you for not doing any research before the purchase, And a BIG SHAME On you sellers for not being honest and up front to the Buyers! sometimes the fast buck isn't always quucker than the slower nickel! ENJOY!
