FIRST THING-- AFTER YOU READ THIS AND IF YOU FOUND THIS TO BE HELPFUL, PLEASE VOTE YES BELOW-_IT WILL HELP OTHERS FIND THIS INFO AS WELL AND NOT GET RIPPED OFF!!   Hi,  I am Steve (ddavies03) and a powerseller on e-Bay.   I am also a Disney Vacation Club Member (DVC).  My family and I go to Disney at least once a year.  I have purchased a Disney Vacation from another DVC member on e-Bay (before we were members) and I have also purchased park tickets on e-Bay at significant savings.  You do need to be careful however.  There are many scams that somehow slip through e-Bay security.   I have been watching Disney Park Tickets on e-Bay for years.  I check frequently for good deals, and I can spot a fake listing a mile away.  I report them immediately to e-Bay and they are usually removed within minutes.  There are many scams for all types of tickets--not just Disney tickets.  Things to remember--

Always contact the member through the e-Bay contact member button--in case the users account was high jacked.  If the account was highjacked your e-mail will go to the true owner of the account and then you will know.  If you get no answer from the seller--I would suggest that you do not bid.  These listing are also usually 1 or 3 day listings--to get in and out really quick before e-bay or the account owner notices (or me!!).

If the member is asking you to contact them by any other means be very wary (ie-listing their e-mail in the listing and directing you contact them for a buy it now price).  It is most likely a scam!!  Also, Never wire money and I would strongly recomend not sending money orders or checks.

Becareful with the used tickets---Every single Adult person entering the park gets their finger scanned and it is associated with that ticket. Period!!!--Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!!  You will be extremly disappointed when you are refused entry to the park.  Child tickets are not finger scanned, so they have a better chance of working when you get to the park--it is still a risk however.

BE VERY VERY VERY Careful with people with 0 feedback selling tickets,  I see brand new accounts pop up all the time with cut and pasted listings/photos from legiament sellers.  They will be the owners of the account, so they will answer your e-mails through e-Bay and they will be very very nice and responsive--so be careful and I would only buy from a 10 or less feedback member only if protected by paypal.  Be sure to check with pay pal first before bidding to make sure you are covered--there are loopholes/situations were you may not be.  As a seller, I have many issues with pay pal, however I will tell you this--they do protect the buyer and will usually side with them on a dispute.  So buying tickets using pay pal is the way to go--just call them to make double sure the item you are bidding on is covered.  This will more then likely be a big purchase and I know tickets eat up alot of your vacation budget--you sure as heck don't what to have to purchase them twice!!

Update--Fast passes--I have noticed a lot of people selling fast passes on e-Bay recently.  This is the most ridiculous thing I have seen.  DO NOT waste your money.  First--all fast passes are issued with a time and date stamp.  They must be used during the time specified (on the same day issued) or they are not valid.  Yes the cast members do check before they let you enter the fast pass line.  Second--Fast Passes are FREE and EASY to get in the park.  I have never waited more then a minute to get a fast pass for ANY ride--including new rides like Mt. Everest.  NEVER!!!

Update--AAA/VIP Parking--don't waste your money here either.  You still will need to pay the regular fee to Park and the AAA/VIP lot is still a pretty long walk ot the front gates at any of the parks.  Disney has one of the best transportation systems anywhere (major cities included).  They have Tram Cars running constantly and you would likely want/need to catch one--even from your AAA parking space anyway!!  So there really isn't much of a time savings here--just another way to waste your money!  Better yet--if you are staying on Disney property, take the bus, monorail or boat.  I have never rented a car when staying in Disney--there really is no need to unless you want to go over to Gator Land or Universal Studios.

Update--Disney Guide Books or e-Books--while most of these do contain good, helpful info---this is another waste of your money.  Anything and everything you ever know about planning and saving money for your trip can be found in two places.  I can't link websites here (a violation) so just do a search on the web for "allears" and "mousesavers".  These are great sites and will save you a boatload of time, money and aggravation.  Best of all these sites are FREE!!!!

Update--Thanks to another e-Bayer.  I just found this way cool link to quickly search a sellers/buyers negitive, neutral and withdrawn feedback---saves a boat-load of time--now you will never have spend hours weeding through someones feedback when you check them out!!  www.toolhaus.org  TRY IT

Last thing is to just use your common sense---don't get caught up in the excitement of planning your vacation--keep your head on strait and remember if it seems too good to be true then it usually is!!  Thanks for your time and good luck.  If you have any questions--look me up in e-bay and ask me!  I can give you more info on how to find good tickets on e-Bay!    AGAIN--IF THIS WAS HELPFUL--PLEASE VOTE YES BELOW!!  IF NOT-_SORRY!   ddavies03.

Update---I see some people have found this as not being helpful....I really don't know how that could be possible.  I spent a lot of time putting this info together---please vote yes--if it wasn't helpful---then don't vote!!  Many others will can be helped with this info and I have received countless e-mails from people thanking me for passing it on (forfree I might add).  This is info other people charge for!!!  People voting no must be the people selling guides or bad tix!!!

THANKS AGAIN AND SAVE HI TO MICKEY FOR ME!!!!!
