~~ Edit Jan 3, 2007 ~~ Important & possible scam info at the bottom

Hi,

I'm writing this for the simple fact that I as an adult LOVE this movie & collect them as well as sell the extras found. I have spent countless hours going to stores looking through cases (36 in 1 case) & looking online. Now the difference between the "Super Charged" & the "Non Super Charged" is quite simple. The Non are the orignal one's that came out right after or during when the movie was in theathers. The Super Charged are the newest editions that have better looking cars but are called "Series 2".

Here are the cars & my experiance of how easy/hard to find in stores - All these are for super charged, it has come to the point where it is kinda real hard to find the Series 1 Non super charged.

1. Lightning McQueen - VERY EASY - almost 3-5 in every case.

2. Dinoco McQueen - VERY EASY - I thought this one might be hard after seeing the movie but they are in every case also, I have only seen a few times where they werent in one case but had multiples in several others.

3. Radiator Springs McQueen - MidRanged - Used to be real hard but now most cases coming in have atleast 2-3, still with collectors & re-sellers can be hard at times.

4. Dirt Track McQueen - Very Hard - I Have found ONE in all my searching, they may be easy somewhere but not no where near my part of the country.

5. Mater - VERY EASY - Several per case

6. Brand New Mater - Very Hard - Usually one per case & people are usually waiting on the cases to be opened to get one.

7. Sally - VERY EASY - Several per case

8. King - MidRanged - sometimes several sometimes only one

9. Doc Hudson - MidRanged - sometimes several sometimes just a couple

10. Fabulous Hudson Hornet - SomeWhat Hard - Used to Be real hard, but now you can find a few in 2-3 cases

11. Leak Less - Pretty Hard - Usually 1 per case

12. Wingo - MidRanged - Seen nights where they where rare, but also when there are 4-5 per case

13. Sarge - Some What Hard - Have found only 2 Super Charged

14. Chick - VERY HARD - On average 1 out of 5 cases'

15.  Lizzie - MidRanged - Coming in easier now, but was real hard

16.  Fillmore - Pretty Hard - Have found 1 super charged

17. DJ - MidRanged - Used to be hard, now kinda easy on most shipments

18. Sheriff - MidRanged - Usually 2-3 per case

19. Green Ramone - WAY TO EASY - usually everywhere

20. Yellow Ramone - Very Hard - found one out of 8 cases

21. Purple Ramone - Very Hard - 2 out of 8 cases

22. Boost - Some What Hard - Used to be kinda MidRanged but recently have found 3 in last 8 cases

23. Nitroade - Some What Hard - Case wise hard but plenty online

24. Hamm - Very Hard - 1 per case if your lucky, plenty online

------------------------------------------------------------------

Movie Moments:

Buzz & Woody - Some What Hard - When first announced almost impossible - now usually 4 per MM case

Red & Stanley - Some What Hard - Harder than buzz & woody now - usually 2 per MM case

Flo & Ramone - VERY EASY - Usually on the shelf

Fillmore & Sarge - VERY EASY - Usually on the shelf

Boost & Snot Rod - Some What Hard - usually 2 per MM case

Sally & Cruisin' McQueen - Some What Hard - usually 2-4 per MM case

Luigi, Guido & Tractor - SUPER HARD - I have found none!! Not for myself or to sell, hope this changes very soon.

This guide is based on my experiances, I have spent several hours waiting on pallets to be brought in & looked through, several different stores & several I've sold online.

I hope this helps others!!

Thanks for reading & Happy Holidays!!

~~Scams Out there!! Ok, I have seen LOTS of people claiming to have a "rare" version of one of the cars. I am writing this to protect anyone!! ~~

There are NO known RARE versions - such as

1. A car with a different name on it, it is NOT rare, I have seen them several times & any hot wheels collector can vouch for that. Mattell messes up alot like that, so these people claiming to have a 1/1 product in reality do not. Also, over the years people have perfected the "scam art" of removing a toy from it's packing & replaced it with another just to try & make big bucks!!

I LOVE the movie, PLEASE don't get caught in these scams, once the holiday season dies down they will be way more abundant at stores & you can find a so called "rare" one aswell at retail price.
