Lovely lingerie is a fabulous thing. It's soft. It's silky. It's beautiful. It feels great to wear. So of course you want to buy it!
As many of us have discovered, eBay is a great place to find it! Lower prices than a lingerie store and anonymity, right? Well, maybe, maybe not. Keep reading for a guide to keep your business to yourself!
Sometimes, a person's desire to wear lingerie doesn't fit society's ideas of who *should* wear it. *Should* a plus-sized woman buy lacy, frilly undies? YES if she loves it! *Should* a man wear satin undies? YES if it makes him feel great!
Is your purchase anybody's business? No! But unless a seller has a strong privacy and discretion policy, you might as well buy a neon sign for your front door that advertises: "I just bought a size 3XL girdle!"
1) SEARCHABLE? When you read a listing, look for these important words: "User ID kept private". You will find this next to the field "High Bidder". If your listing does not say those words, then anybody knowing your User ID can search for everything you are bidding on, PLUS all items you have won in the past 30 days!
2) POLICY? Does your seller have a privacy policy? If not, she might be writing your package contents right on the front, or otherwise give hints to the contents. If your seller values your privacy, she will say so.
3) FEEDBACK? How do you feel about having lingerie on your feedback record? Even if your listing is marked as "Private", those words will appear instead of an item number. If your seller values privacy, she should let you be the one to make this decision.
